Among the most anticipated Xiaomi smartphone series set to launch in the international scene is the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and the Xiaomi 13 Lite. The launch is expected later this month, or more specifically on February 26 during the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona.
While the rumored Xiaomi 13 Ultra is not expected to be released soon, a leaked image of the phone’s design has surfaced on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. The image depicts a large circular camera module with Leica branding, housing four cameras and an LED flash. Further, the rear of the smartphone is shown to have a vegan leather finish.
Although the design of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra bears a striking resemblance to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, there are a few noticeable differences. The camera module protrudes less on the 13 Ultra than it did on its predecessor, and the back of the smartphone appears to be partitioned into two raised sections.
It’s important to note that the image shown above is unverified, and there is a possibility that it may be fake. Previous reports, however, suggest that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature a 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch camera sensor, along with an enhanced periscope camera. The device is also expected to sport a curved Samsung E6 Super AMOLED display.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the next-gen Xiaomi Ultra smartphone will be available in the global market. However, the launch date is currently unknown. We will be on the lookout for any updates and developments regarding this exciting release.
