Xiaomi recently launched its all new flagship smartphone offering, the Xiaomi 13 series powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. While that makes it a powerful device to contend with, what has come as a surprise to many is the manner it has piqued its most illustrious rival, the iPhone 14 Pro Max. In the Genshin Impact test carried out by Golden Reviewer, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has been found to return impressive figures compared to the most powerful iPhone model currently available, the iPhone 14 Max Pro powered by the A16 Bionic chipset.

As the Genshin Impact test results have come to reveal, the Xiaomi 13 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has a comfortable margin over all its rivals. Take for instance the performance credentials of the Xiaomi 13 Pro. It returned frame rate figures of 59.4 FPS, which is easily the highest that has been tested so far. In comparison, the A16 Bionic chipset on the iPhone 14 Pro Max came out with a score of 58.4 FPS. The Vivo X90 powered by the Dimensity 9200 managed 57.5 FPS.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on the Xiaomi 13 also came out on top in terms of efficiency, brushing past the Dimensity 9200 in the process. The latest Qualcomm processor did better both in terms of power consumption and efficiency as it managed higher efficiency figures while consuming lower power compared to the competition. That said, the iPhone 14 Pro Max fares better in this aspect, with the average power consumption per watt being the lowest at 5.1 while having efficiency FPS scores of 11.0 per watt.

Another area where the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on the Xiaomi 13 puts up a stellar show is its ability to remain cool even under the heaviest processing load. Even when it is at its hottest, it is still relatively cooler at 39.3 degrees compared to the 46.7 degrees that the iPhone 14 Pro Max can get up to.
