Just as the India arm of POCO announced a launch event for March 30. The global team has now scheduled a new launch event for March 22. Since the launch date announcement, speculations are high.
There are some talks of POCO launching two phones at this Global launch, the POCO F3/Pro and POCO X3 Pro. We have seen in the past that POCO F series phones are generally rebranded Redmi K series products. This time is no different and the POCO F3 could be a rebranded Redmi K40 Pro. Talking about the launch, the company hasn’t yet confirmed the naming of the product that is arriving next Monday.
But given the sudden surge in info pouring in, it is safe to say that the brand will surely be bringing the POCO X3 Pro to the European markets. The phone has already been spotted on a bunch of retailers with a starting price of €269. As for the specs, the phone will sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, we will see a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 4G chip that has still not been launched.
It will be available in three colors Blue, Black, Bronze, and come in the 6GB RAM/128GB and 8GB RAM/256GB flavor. Other specs include a 5,020mAh battery, 33W fast charging, a quad-camera setup on the rear, and a 16MP selfie shooter on the front.
As for the POCO F3/F3 Pro, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB of UFS3.0 storage. There will be a triple camera setup on the back with a main 64MP sensor and punch-hole Full HD+ AMOLED panel on the front with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The global launch is just a week from now and we should be hearing more on the devices being launch in the coming days.
