POCO C50

The Poco C50 smartphone is all set to make its debut in India tomorrow, that is January 3, 2023. We also know the phone is going to be available in the country via Flipkart given that the online retailer has set up a micro site dedicated to the smartphone with the above details along with a few key specifications as well.

As per what the Flipkart micro site has to reveal, the Poco C50 is going to be an entry-level smartphone with basic specs. That includes a 6.52-inch display having HD+ resolution. The display has a water-drop notch at the top and a 120 Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood lies a MediaTek Helio A22 processor that should be good for decent levels of performance. The phone will run Android 12 Go Edition right out of the gates. A 5000 mAh battery will be keeping the lights on and is supported by a 10W charger.

The rear is marked by a leather textured finish with a squarish camera module along the top left corner. There is going to be a twin lens camera system comprising of an 8 MP primary sensor though it is not known what the accompanying rear snapper is going to be like. The front gets a 5 MP sensor for selfies and video calls. The rear meanwhile also features a fingerprint sensor as well. The site reveals the phone is done up in a shade of blue though more color options too can be expected.

However, it is not known what the memory and storage configuration of the phone is going to be like. That said, the phone’s Geekbench listing earlier had revealed 3 gigs of RAM, which should be quite enough given its positioning as a budget smartphone offering. Expect all details to be revealed tomorrow.
