The Xiaomi 13 smartphone is likely to make its official debut in China sometime next month. This should be followed by a more widespread launch of the Xiaomi flagship phone in other parts of the world. However, even with the expected launch window this close, there is practically nothing that the company has officially revealed about the phone. There have been plenty of leaks and speculations though that made it to the world wide web and kept us informed of what to expect from the upcoming phone. Plus, several versions have also been spotted on certifications sites as well which is another way we have come across some key specifications of the phone.

In the midst of all this, a new render of the Xiaomi 13 has leaked online, one that shows the rear panel of the phone done up in a glorious shade of brown. The phone is otherwise seen sporting a boxy shape that however seems to share a lot of similarities with the iPhone 13. That includes the boxy shape with flat sides along with curved edges. The similarity seems to extend to even the squarish camera module as well. These apart, the new rendering looks brilliant which again has much to do with the brown shade on the rear that complements nicely the white shade for the rest of the body. The rear also seems to have a leather texture which has led many to opine the company might indeed have a leather option for the phone.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 13 was also seen on the Geekbench site where it is mentioned by model number 2211133C. The Geekbench listing also revealed a few key specs of the phone much of which corroborates with what we already know of the phone so far. That includes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC making up the core of the phone which is paired with 12 GB of RAM. The phone is also tipped to come with a 6.2-inch AMOLED display upfront having 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Other spec bits that are also being associated with the Xiaomi 13 include a 50 MP Sony IMX8 sensor at the rear. The phone will also be running Android 13 right out of the box. The Geekbench site further revealed a single-core score of 1,497 points and a multi-core score of 5,089 points, both being quite impressive.

More details of the phone awaited. Keep watching.
