The Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the latest flagship smartphone from the brand, boasts an exceptional camera system and an immersive display. This device offers a complete package, including a powerful processor, fast charging capabilities, and respectable battery life. Although Xiaomi does not market the 13 Ultra as a gaming phone, its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor enables it to handle even the most demanding games with ease. To enhance the overall user experience, Xiaomi has released a new update for the 13 Ultra, addressing refresh rate issues and improving battery performance.
This latest update is currently being rolled out to Xiaomi 13 Ultra units in China. Worth mentioning, the smartphone is not yet available in the global market. The software update resolves various bugs and issues present on the phone. One notable fix is the one related to an abnormal frame rate problem that occurs when a game accessed the microphone. This bug caused a drop in the frame rate, which is now resolved, ensuring consistent performance even when the microphone is in use.
Additionally, the update addresses a bug that triggered a warning message about overheating when the phone was not actually overheating. The update ensures that the warning message is only displayed when the device is experiencing excessive heat. Furthermore, the update resolves occasional abnormal CPU power consumption issues and optimizes battery life. As an added bonus, the firmware update also brings the device’s security level up to May 2022.
