Overview

Taskade AI Agents is a workspace for creating apps and coordinating AI agents, projects, and automations. It will suit people who want agents to work with their task and business context rather than live in a separate chat tool. Its breadth is appealing, but the free plan is tightly capped and its SOC 2 Type II audit is still in progress.

Key features

Agents with context

Taskade says a prompt can create a live app with agents, memory, and automations. Agents can be trained on projects, documents, and links, then plan, reason, and act inside apps. They can also search the web, analyze information, and make recommendations. For teams whose work already lives in project material and connected data, this brings research and action closer to that context; it is less compelling if all you need is a basic task list.

Uploaded documents and connected data sources can provide business context. That can help ground agent work in company material, though the number of agents and monthly credits vary substantially by plan.

Connections and automation

Taskade lists 152 integrations across six categories, with connectors that can pass events and data in both directions. Named services include Slack, Gmail, Stripe, GitHub, Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Drive, and Dropbox. Webhooks and HTTP request actions provide a route to services without a native integration. This range makes Taskade relevant to teams connecting work across services, but it does not remove the need to assess each workflow and its data handling.

Taskade also includes task and email management, action automation, mobile apps, and a browser extension. Security measures it describes include TLS transmission and AES-256 encryption for backups and stored credentials. It says contracts prohibit AI providers from using customer data to train general AI models. Organizations requiring a completed SOC 2 report should note that Taskade says its Type II audit is in progress and that it does not yet have a report.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and is free forever. It allows two users, three apps, one AI agent, 10 automation runs per month, and 6,000 one-time credits. It is useful for a small trial, but the single-agent and automation caps make it a constrained basis for ongoing team workflows.

Pro costs 10.00 USD per month, billed $10/mo. It includes 10 users, 50,000 credits per month, unlimited apps, agents, workspaces, and automations, plus 100 GB of AI storage. This is the clearest step up for a small team that needs room to expand beyond the free caps.

Business costs 25.00 USD per month, billed $25/mo. It includes unlimited users, 150,000 monthly credits, unlimited AI teams, 1 TB of AI storage, custom domains, and SAML SSO. Priority support, onboarding, and training make it the more suitable tier for organizations that need those services as well as broader access.

Max costs 100.00 USD per month, billed $100/mo. It offers unlimited users and teams, 400,000 monthly credits, autonomous agents, and agentic AI workflows. It is aimed at heavier or more autonomous use; the price is a substantial jump over Business, so those capabilities need to justify the difference.

Enterprise has custom pricing and includes unlimited users and 1.1 million monthly credits, along with dedicated support and a custom SLA. It is the tier for organizations needing a tailored service arrangement. Across paid plans, credit allowances matter for AI use; moving up increases capacity, but the Free plan's one-time credits do not renew monthly.

Platforms

Taskade supports Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web, and Windows, and offers an API and browser extension. That broad reach suits people switching between desktop and mobile, as well as teams connecting services programmatically.

Who it's for

Taskade is best for individuals and teams who want project work, app creation, contextual AI agents, and service-to-service automation in one workspace. Free can test the shape of that workflow, while Pro is a more practical starting point for a team that needs multiple agents and regular automation. It is a weaker fit for buyers who need a completed SOC 2 report or do not expect to use its agent and integration breadth.

Pros and cons

Pro: Agents can use project, document, link, and connected-data context, which is more useful for work grounded in team materials than context-free prompts.
Pro: 152 integrations, bidirectional connectors, and webhook or HTTP actions give teams several ways to link services and workflows.
Pro: Pro removes the Free plan's caps on apps, agents, workspaces, and automations, and includes 50,000 monthly credits for up to 10 users.
Con: Free limits users to one agent and 10 automation runs monthly, so it may be outgrown quickly by a team relying on repeated workflows.
Con: The SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress, with no report yet; organizations that require that report should look elsewhere for now.
Con: Max costs $100.00 USD per month, a significant increase over Pro and Business for users who need its autonomous-agent and agentic-workflow tier.

Alternatives

Choose Onplana if a freemium option with self-hosted support matters; its Free plan includes five members, two projects, 300 MB of storage, and 100K one-time AI tokens per seat, while Starter is 7.00 USD per month.

Asana is a better match for personal project management: its Personal plan is free forever for one or two people, with two users and a 100 MB maximum per file. Its Starter plan is 10.99.

Pick ClickUp if unlimited tasks and free-plan members matter more than Taskade's agent limits; its Free Forever plan includes 60MB storage and one form, and it offers a free trial.

Linear is worth considering for issue-focused work: its free plan has unlimited members, two teams, 250 issues, an agent platform, and Linear Agent.

Consider Wrike for a free plan with unlimited users, 2 GB of account storage, and 200 active tasks per account.

Teamwork.com offers a free plan for five users and five projects, with 100 automations; its Basics tier covers 300 projects and 100 GB of storage.

Choose monday.com if a compact free board setup fits: its free plan allows two seats, three boards, three Docs, 200 items, and 500 MB of storage.

ProjectLibre is another option.

Verdict

Taskade is a strong choice for teams that want AI agents to draw on project and business context, then connect that work to apps and automations. Pro is the practical entry point for regular team use, while the Free plan is better treated as a limited trial. Look elsewhere if a completed SOC 2 report is a requirement, or if Taskade's agent and integration range does not warrant its paid-plan costs.
