Overview

Routific is a delivery management platform built around route optimization for last-mile businesses, from food and grocery operators to couriers and florists. It suits dispatchers who need to coordinate drivers and keep customers informed, but its order-based pricing becomes a more important consideration as volume grows.

Key features

Routific’s optimizer weighs driver preferences, business priorities, and traffic patterns when planning routes. Dispatchers can then move stops on a map or timeline and add urgent deliveries, a useful combination when plans change after routes are built. The stated ceiling is 1,000 stops.

Drivers receive routes and delivery instructions in the mobile app, with navigation through Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps. Live GPS tracking supplies updated ETAs, and Routific says tracking runs only while drivers are working. Customers can follow an approaching driver through an automated tracker link and receive a completion notice. Email notifications are included; SMS costs extra.

Drivers can collect signatures and multiple photos as proof of delivery, creating an audit trail that can help settle disputes. APIs and real-time webhook events support integrations; named platforms include Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Zoho, and BigCommerce. Shopify is described as a two-way integration. The privacy policy says Routific uses US data-hosting providers, SSL-secured communications, and salted password hashes, while cautioning that absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Pricing

The free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and covers up to 100 orders a month with all features except SMS notifications. It is a meaningful starting point for a small operation that can rely on email updates, but the cap makes it unsuitable once monthly volume exceeds 100 orders.

The paid plan is 150.00 USD per month for 101 to 1,000 orders a month; that flat starting tier is a substantial step up from free, so low-volume businesses should weigh the value of scaling before upgrading. Above 1,000 orders, monthly per-order rates decrease with volume: 0.15 USD per month for 1,001–2,000 orders, 0.13 USD per month for 2,001–3,000, 0.10 USD per month for 3,001–5,000, 0.08 USD per month for 5,001–10,000, 0.05 USD per month for 10,001–20,000, and 0.03 USD per month for 20,001–50,000. SMS notifications are an add-on for a quote, so businesses that rely on texts should budget for an additional cost. The free 7-day trial offers a short evaluation window before committing.

Platforms

Routific supports Android, iOS, web, and API access. Its driver app and dispatcher tools address both sides of delivery coordination, while API access gives businesses another route to connect their systems.

Who it's for

Routific is best suited to last-mile delivery teams that need route planning alongside dispatch edits, driver visibility, customer updates, and delivery evidence. Food, courier, farm, grocery, and florist businesses are among its intended audiences. It is a weaker fit for very small operations that need more than 100 monthly orders but cannot justify the 150.00 USD per month entry paid tier, or for businesses that require SMS without a separate quote.

Pros and cons

Pros: Route editing and last-minute stop additions give dispatchers flexibility after optimization.
Pros: Driver tracking, customer links, completion notifications, signatures, and photos cover visibility and proof of delivery in one workflow.
Pros: The free plan includes all features other than SMS, making it possible to assess the core service at up to 100 orders monthly.
Cons: The paid entry tier starts at 150.00 USD per month, a sharp jump for businesses just beyond the free allowance.
Cons: SMS is not included in the free plan and requires a quote as an add-on, complicating cost planning for teams that need text alerts.
Cons: Per-order charges above 1,000 orders mean monthly costs depend on delivery volume rather than staying at the base paid price.

Alternatives

Verdict

Choose Routific if your last-mile operation needs route optimization plus practical dispatch changes, driver and customer tracking, and proof of delivery in the same platform. Its free plan is a useful entry point at up to 100 monthly orders, but the 150.00 USD per month paid tier and quoted SMS add-on make cost a central reason to compare alternatives as volume or messaging needs grow.
