Overview

ProLine is a communication-first CRM for residential roofing businesses. It suits teams that want calls, texts, quotes, and follow-up workflows tied to their roofing jobs. Its strongest case is bringing those sales and customer touchpoints together; the $497-per-month entry plan and lack of direct financing-platform integrations are important trade-offs.

ProLine combines a built-in phone system with customizable quotes, signatures, scheduling, customer-portal access, and invoicing and payments. That makes it broader than a lead-contact tool, though the three published plans all start with three seats, so smaller operations should weigh the cost against their actual staffing needs.

Key features

Communication and follow-up

Calls and texts run from inside the CRM, keeping customer communication alongside sales activity. Automations cover speed-to-lead, re-engaging older leads, appointment reminders, sales follow-up, job updates, and review requests. That breadth is useful for teams managing many handoffs; it is less compelling for a roofer who only needs basic contact tracking.

Quotes and job operations

Users can customize and send quotes and collect signatures. An estimate builder, job scheduling, customer portal, production management, and invoicing and payments extend the workflow into project delivery. This makes ProLine a plausible operational hub for a roofing team, not just a way to make calls.

AI and integrations

The Better plan adds inbound and outbound AI voice agents, AI call summaries and scoring, an insurance estimate manager, and an AI voice roleplay trainer. These are substantial additions, but they come with a $300 monthly jump over Good; businesses that do not need AI call handling may find the lower tier more sensible. ProLine directly integrates with QuickBooks, CompanyCam, and Google Calendar, and Zapier can connect it to thousands of apps. It does not directly integrate with financing platforms, a material gap for roofers who rely on financing workflows.

Pricing

ProLine offers a free Base Account for retaining project and contact data, while its working plans are paid subscriptions. Each listed tier includes three seats, done-for-you setup, and the mobile app; the stated prices are monthly.

Plan	Price	Included	Best fit
Good	497.00 USD per month	3 seats, 3k PRO Credits, production management, quotes, payments and invoicing, calling and texting, automations, integrations and Zapier, mobile app, and done-for-you setup.	Roofing teams wanting the core communication and job-management package without the AI tier.
Better	797.00 USD per month	3 seats, 15k PRO Credits, everything in Good, AI voice agents, AI call summaries and scoring, an insurance estimate manager, and an AI voice roleplay trainer.	Teams that will use the AI call and insurance tools enough to justify the higher monthly cost.
Best	1697.00 USD per month	3 seats, 30k PRO Credits, everything in Good and Better, audience segmentation, marketing broadcasts, and done-for-you setup.	Businesses needing the added segmentation and broadcast marketing tools.

The Base Account is useful as a no-cost place to keep contacts and project data after cancelling, but it is not a substitute for the paid plans’ listed operating features. ProLine says customers own the data they add and can export account data via CSV, including after cancellation. Free-account users retain support access; chat, email, and Zoom support are offered from 10 AM to 10 PM ET Monday through Friday, with limited weekend support for pressing issues. ProLine advertises free done-for-you onboarding, aiming to onboard a business within 45 days, and says it will refund the customer if they do not sell one additional job within 30 days.

Platforms

ProLine runs on Android, iOS, and the web. Its mobile app is available through Google Play and the Apple App Store, so field and office staff can access it on phones as well as browsers.

Who it's for

ProLine is best suited to residential roofing businesses that want one system for customer communication, quotes, follow-up, and production workflows, and can justify a paid plan starting at $497.00 USD per month. The free Base Account is relevant to former subscribers who want to retain data, not to a business seeking a free full-featured CRM. Teams needing direct financing-platform connectivity should look elsewhere or confirm that an indirect workflow is acceptable.

Pros and cons

Pro: Built-in calling and texting plus automations spanning new leads, appointments, sales, jobs, and reviews can keep follow-up connected to CRM work.
Pro: Quotes, signatures, scheduling, customer portal, production management, and invoicing and payments cover both sales and job operations.
Pro: Data ownership, CSV export even after cancellation, and a free data-retention account reduce lock-in concerns.
Con: The lowest paid tier costs 497.00 USD per month and includes three seats, which may be hard to justify for a solo roofer or small team.
Con: Financing platforms are not directly integrated, a drawback for businesses that need financing embedded in their customer workflow.
Con: AI tools require the $797.00 USD per month Better plan, while marketing segmentation and broadcasts require Best at $1697.00 USD per month.

Alternatives

Instant Roofer is a better fit when the priority is roof measurement reports rather than ProLine’s CRM and communication workflow: basic measurements are unlimited free, while premium report details require Premium.
Business Pilot is worth considering for service engineers and installers seeking a site-licensed business tool; its page describes a monthly license cost billed quarterly in advance.
Centerpoint Connect may suit teams seeking sales, service, and production software with field- and office-user pricing, volume discounts, and a stated one-time implementation cost.
Leap is an option for roofers comparing paid roofing software with a single-user entry plan and a one-year contract.
Roof Manager is another roofing-software option with a free trial that includes two full reports and CRM, invoicing, and proposals.
JobNimbus is a paid alternative with a free trial and plans differentiated by user, project-board, and automation limits.
Roofr is a freemium, web-based alternative.
Quandron is a paid, web-based option for businesses looking at engineering-oriented CRM and quoting software.

Verdict

Choose ProLine if your residential roofing team needs communication, sales follow-up, and job workflows in one system and the paid starting price fits your operation. Its combination of built-in calling, automation, quotes, and production tools is the core reason to choose it. Look elsewhere if a $497.00 USD monthly commitment is too high or direct financing-platform integration is essential.
