Overview

Productboard brings feedback into one place, where teams can spot trends, identify popular requests and link insights to feature ideas. It also connects team priorities with product objectives and business goals, then presents plans through collaborative roadmaps designed to keep stakeholders aligned. That makes it a fit for teams that want customer input and delivery priorities in one product workflow rather than separate feedback and planning tools.

Key features

Feedback, priorities and roadmaps

Feature requests, a feedback portal and sentiment analysis support the feedback loop, while contextual roadmaps help communicate what the team plans to do. Linking insights to feature ideas gives requests a route into prioritization; teams primarily seeking a lightweight public feedback board may not need this wider planning layer.

AI and integrations

Productboard Spark adds AI capabilities. AI chat, feedback summaries, scheduled tasks and an MCP server are included across plans, with monthly AI-credit allowances varying by plan. Integrations include Zendesk, Slack, Intercom, Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Salesforce, Amplitude, Mixpanel and Google Drive, which can help teams connect feedback and product work with tools they already use.

APIs and security

Productboard offers API v2.0 and a GDPR API for removing customer data. Its Trust Center lists SOC 2 Type II, CSA, GDPR, CCPA, SIG, PCI, EU-US DPF, ISO 27001:2022 and CASA badges. It also describes annual third-party penetration testing and weekly application DAST scans—useful credentials and practices for teams evaluating security requirements.

Pricing

The free plan is 0.00 USD per free (billed billed annually (or $0, billed monthly)). It includes 50 AI credits/month, 500 feedback notes, 25 contributors, one teamspace and one product portal. This is a meaningful starting point, but the feedback and teamspace caps limit its headroom.

Plus costs 19.00 USD per month (billed billed annually (or $25 maker/month, billed monthly)). It raises the AI allowance to 250 AI credits maker/month, while retaining 500 feedback items, 25 contributors, one teamspace and one product portal. It suits a small team ready to pay for more AI capacity, but it does not expand those core caps.

Business costs 59.00 USD per month (billed 2 makers minimum, billed annually (or $75 maker/month, 2 makers minimum, billed monthly)). It includes 500 AI credits maker/month, 25 contributors, two product portals and unlimited teamspaces; feedback notes are unlimited. The two-maker minimum and higher price make it a better fit for teams that will use the extra portal, teamspaces and feedback capacity.

Enterprise has custom pricing and requires a five-maker minimum, billed annually. It includes 800 AI credits maker/month, unlimited contributors and teamspaces, plus SAML SSO and SCIM, for larger organizations that need those access and scaling provisions. All plans include community and email support; Business adds prioritized email support, and Enterprise adds expedited email support. A 14-day trial is available.

Platforms

Productboard is available on web and offers an API and an extension. The API options also support teams that need programmatic access or customer-data removal.

Who it's for

Productboard is best suited to product teams that need to turn customer feedback into prioritized work and keep stakeholders informed through shared roadmaps. Startups can begin on the free plan, while teams with larger feedback volumes or broader access needs should weigh Business or Enterprise. It is less compelling for a team that only needs a simple feedback board and does not need the connected planning workflow.

Pros and cons

Pro: Feedback can be connected to feature ideas and priorities, making customer requests more actionable than a standalone collection board.
Pro: Collaborative roadmaps and integrations with tools such as Jira, Slack and Zendesk support coordination across product work and stakeholder communication.
Pro: AI features appear across all plans, with higher credit allowances on paid tiers.
Con: Free and Plus both cap feedback at 500 items, contributors at 25, and access to one teamspace and one product portal, limiting their usefulness as needs expand.
Con: Business requires at least two makers and Enterprise at least five, raising the entry commitment for teams that want their additional capacity.

Verdict

Choose Productboard if your product team needs one connected place to interpret customer feedback, set priorities and communicate roadmaps. Its strongest case is that feedback can flow into product decisions alongside strategy and stakeholder updates. Look elsewhere if your needs are limited to collecting feedback, or if the 500-item and 25-contributor caps on Free and Plus leave too little room to grow.
