Overview

Moposa brings venue enquiries, booking administration, calendars and couple-facing planning into a shared workflow. Venue teams can assign incoming enquiries, keep follow-ups moving, and carry confirmed events through contracts and operational documents. Couples get a planning space linked to the venue rather than a standalone sign-up product.

That venue-first design is a good fit for coordinators, sales managers, hotel general managers and reception teams. It is less suitable for couples seeking a planner they can adopt independently, or for venues that need built-in billing today: that capability is marked as coming soon.

Key features

From enquiry to booking

Moposa can import enquiries from website forms and inboxes, assign them to coordinators, automate follow-up reminders and analyse lost bookings. This gives sales teams a way to organise lead handling alongside later booking work, rather than treating the enquiry as a separate process. Once a booking is underway, digital contracts with e-signatures, workflow automation, function sheets, menus, rooming lists and payment reminders support the operational handoff.

Venue calendar and events

The calendar combines room schedules, conflict detection and bookable appointment slots, with two-way sync for Google and Microsoft 365. That makes it relevant to venues coordinating rooms and sales appointments across existing calendars. A separate events space covers corporate functions, conferences, parties and family celebrations, with event workflows and logins limited to events users.

Couple planning and mobile access

Invited couples can use wedding websites, online RSVPs, guest categories, seating plans, shared to-dos and direct chat. Guest lists, budgets and lookbooks are also part of the shared planning space. Couples do not pay, and the couples offering has no in-app upsells, but access depends on their venue using Moposa and sending an invitation.

The free iPhone and Android app gives venue teams access to enquiries, bookings, the calendar and tasks, with push notifications. It is a useful companion for staff who need those work areas on mobile; Moposa also runs on the web.

Group administration and onboarding

Multi-venue groups can use shared templates, group-level reports, one login for managers and permissions by user and venue. Included onboarding covers data migration, configuration, training and go-live support over about two weeks, with no separate setup fee.

Billing caveat

Built-in billing is marked as coming soon. The planned description includes invoices, deposits, payment schedules and secure payment links, but it is not a current reason to choose the product.

Pricing

Moposa has a free plan, while venue subscription pricing is custom pricing. Venue teams are invited to book a demo; no venue subscription amount or seat and quota terms are stated. Included onboarding avoids a separate setup charge, but does not make the venue subscription free.

Couples pay nothing because the venue covers their planning access, and there are no in-app upsells. That is useful for invited couples, but it is not a free standalone option for couples whose venue does not use Moposa. The free mobile app is for venue teams; it should not be confused with a free venue subscription.

Platforms

Moposa supports web, Android and iOS. Its free mobile app covers venue enquiries, bookings, calendars and tasks on iPhone and Android, while couples access their planning portal through a participating venue.

Who it's for

Moposa is best suited to wedding venues that need a joined-up way to manage enquiries, bookings, calendars and the couple journey, particularly teams sharing responsibilities or groups operating multiple venues. Its event workspace also makes it relevant to venues handling corporate and social functions alongside weddings.

Couples benefit when their venue already uses the system and invites them. Couples looking for an independent planning app, or venues seeking a currently available built-in invoicing and payment system, should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pro: Enquiry assignment, reminders and lost-booking analysis give venue sales teams tools to manage leads through to booking.
Pro: Room conflict detection, two-way calendar sync and booking documents connect scheduling with event operations.
Pro: Couples get planning and RSVP tools without paying, while multi-venue permissions and reports support group operations.
Pro: Data migration, setup, training and go-live support are included in onboarding, with no separate setup fee.
Con: Couples cannot sign up on their own; their venue has to use Moposa and invite them.
Con: Built-in billing is still marked as coming soon, limiting its fit for venues seeking an integrated payment workflow now.
Con: Custom venue pricing means teams cannot compare subscription cost or seat and quota limits before contacting Moposa.

Alternatives

For independent couple planning or a different focus, compare wedding planning software. Colara has a free couples plan with guest management, vendor coordination, checklists and a photo gallery, making it a relevant alternative for couples who want those tools without venue-invitation access. ForeverAfter offers a free Starter plan with unlimited guests, one contributor, five AI assistant messages and one voice guest-book message; consider it if those specific couple-planning features matter more than venue operations.

Marry Planner has a free plan for one wedding with up to 30 guests and one collaborator, including unlimited vendors, venues, budget tracking and checklist items; choose it if those caps suit a couple’s planning needs. WeddingWire Planning Tools is a free wedding-planning app. RSVPify has a free plan capped at 100 guests and paid tiers with monthly registration limits, so it is worth considering when guest registration capacity is the main concern.

WedSetGo is a free wedding-planning app supported by advertisements. Zola Wedding Planner offers free tools for personal, non-commercial use with a registered account. Lumière has a free web plan capped at five AI planner messages per month, 20 tasks, five vendors and 50 guests, with a limited budget tracker; it may suit couples comfortable with those limits.

Verdict

Choose Moposa if you run a wedding venue or venue group and want enquiry handling, booking workflows, calendars and invited-couple planning tied together, backed by included onboarding. Look elsewhere if you are a couple without access through a participating venue, or if your venue needs built-in billing now or wants subscription pricing and limits before a sales conversation.
