Overview

MaxiManage brings staff records, scheduling, attendance, sales operations and real-time reporting into one platform. Businesses can manage multiple stores or sites from a single account while keeping each location’s staff, rosters and reporting separate. That breadth is useful for operators coordinating several parts of the business, but may be more than a single-site business needs if it wants only one focused tool.

The company is headquartered in Greystones, County Wicklow, Ireland. MaxiManage says it uses role-based access, secure cloud infrastructure and continuous backups, and describes itself as GDPR compliant.

Key features

Employee administration and attendance

The free Employee Management module covers onboarding and employee records. The broader HR tools also handle contracts, documents and performance reviews, with e-signatures for documents. The clock-in/out app records attendance offline and syncs to the cloud when connectivity returns, which helps staff keep a record at sites with intermittent connections.

Scheduling and multi-site work

Smart Roster creates department-based schedules, notifies employees and supports changes from anywhere. Per-location rosters let multi-site businesses keep schedules distinct. These tools make MaxiManage more relevant to operators coordinating teams than to businesses looking only for a basic staff directory.

Sales, POS and kitchen operations

Sales tools cover suppliers, purchase orders, product catalogues, tax settings, bank reconciliation, gift vouchers and refunds. MaxiManage POS handles table, takeaway, delivery and quick-sale orders, along with split bills and payment workflows. It supports staff permissions and offline operation, a useful combination for businesses that need service to continue during connectivity interruptions.

The KDS receives orders from MaxiManage POS and supported online-ordering workflows, then routes items to kitchen or preparation stations. This makes the kitchen module a natural fit for food businesses already using the POS workflow, rather than a standalone reason for other businesses to adopt the platform.

Gift vouchers

The digital voucher module tracks issued value, remaining balances, redemption history and activity, including partial redemption. Balance lookup and redemption tracking support day-to-day voucher handling without limiting it to one-time, full-value use.

Pricing

MaxiManage uses a freemium model: Employee Management is free forever, while businesses can add paid modules separately. That makes it possible to start with onboarding and employee records without paying, but does not make the broader operational suite free.

Employee Management: 0.00 USD per free, billed free forever; includes employee onboarding and employee records. It is the sensible starting point for businesses that need staff administration but not the paid operations modules.
KDS & Kitchen Operations: 220.00 EUR per year; includes a real-time kitchen display, station routing and a POS-connected workflow. It suits food businesses that need to direct orders through preparation stations.
Gift Vouchers: 307.50 EUR per year; the price includes 23% VAT. It includes digital vouchers, balance tracking and full and partial redemption, making it relevant to businesses that actively issue and manage vouchers.
MaxiManage POS: 615.00 EUR per year; the price includes 23% VAT. It includes table, takeaway, delivery and quick-sale ordering, with offline-capable operation. This is the broadest of the priced operational modules for businesses that need point-of-sale workflows.

The paid modules are priced annually, so businesses should weigh the cost of each needed capability rather than assume it is bundled with free employee records. The POS and voucher prices explicitly include VAT.

Platforms

MaxiManage supports Android, iOS and web, giving teams mobile and browser access across supported devices.

Who it's for

MaxiManage is best suited to restaurants, cafés, salons, retail and hospitality businesses in Ireland and the UK that want employee administration alongside optional scheduling, sales or in-store tools. Its location-separated staff, rosters and reporting make it particularly relevant to multi-site operators. A business needing only employee records can use the free module; one needing POS, kitchen routing or vouchers should budget for those modules separately.

Pros and cons

Pro: Employee onboarding and records are free forever, so businesses can begin with core staff administration without a subscription cost.
Pro: Offline attendance records sync when connectivity returns, and POS can also operate offline, addressing two practical needs for locations with unreliable connections.
Pro: Separate staff, rosters and reporting by location help multi-site businesses coordinate operations without combining their site-level views.
Con: Scheduling and other operational capabilities are separate from the free employee module, so the free starting point does not cover the full platform.
Con: POS and voucher modules carry annual prices, with VAT explicitly included in those two listed prices; businesses should account for module costs when selecting the tools they need.

Verdict

Choose MaxiManage if your restaurant, café, salon, retail or hospitality business wants free employee records plus the option to add scheduling, POS, kitchen routing or voucher management, particularly across multiple locations. Its modular approach and offline-capable attendance and POS are the strongest reasons to consider it. Look elsewhere if you need only a focused salon tool or want a broader operational package without separate module costs.
