Overview

Loxo brings candidate sourcing, recruiting CRM, applicant tracking, outreach, people data and AI agents into one platform for recruiting and executive-search teams. It is most compelling for firms that want one system across candidate discovery and workflow assistance, with a person retaining final say on candidates.

Natural-language AI search comes with every plan, while the breadth of agent tasks makes Loxo more than a database or tracking system. The trade-off is a per-user annual commitment on paid plans and a credit allowance to manage on Professional.

Loxo spans Candidate Relationship Management Software, Recruiting CRM Software, Recruitment Agency Software, AI Recruiting Software and Candidate Sourcing Software.

Key features

Search and candidate data

Loxo says its talent graph contains more than 850 million people, and its relevance-ranked, natural-language AI search is included across plans. Contact enrichment, bulk export and candidate outreach extend the workflow beyond finding prospects. The mixed talent database and large graph make Loxo worth considering for sourcing teams, though the database size alone does not establish fit for a particular search.

Recruiting agents

Agents can assist with job intake, job-description and Skill DNA drafting, longlisting and shortlisting candidates, outreach and other recruiting tasks. Their work stops at the shortlist: candidate decisions remain with a person. That boundary is a useful fit for teams seeking task assistance without handing over selection decisions.

Integrations and access

The marketplace includes Arrange, Indeed, Ringover, Workday, Greenhouse, HubSpot, Okta and Zoom. Core includes a Chrome extension; API access is a Professional feature. Teams that need API access should account for the higher tier rather than assume it is part of the entry plan.

Pricing

Loxo uses a freemium model, with a free plan and a 7-day trial. The trial provides full Professional access and does not require a credit card.

Core: 149.00 USD per month per user, billed annually and paid up front. It includes unlimited jobs, candidates and companies, plus a Chrome extension. Free migration applies to teams with at least three seats; smaller teams get guided self-serve tooling. This is the lower-cost paid option for teams that need the core workflow, but it does not include Professional's stated monthly credits or API access.
Professional: 199.00 USD per month per user, billed annually and paid up front. Each seat receives 2,500 credits monthly, pooled across the team and refreshed each cycle. Unused credits do not carry over, so teams should consider recurring usage and seat count when choosing this plan.
Enterprise: Custom pricing on annual agreements. It adds SSO/SAML, advanced governance, roles and permissions, a dedicated success team and priority support. This is the relevant tier for organizations needing those controls and support; it is not a priced step-up that can be compared directly with the per-user plans.

The paid commitment is annual even though prices are expressed per month. Teams comparing plans should weigh the Professional credit pool against expected use rather than treating its per-seat allowance as an individual carryover balance.

Platforms

Loxo is available on web and through a browser extension, with API access listed for Professional. Core specifically includes a Chrome extension, while API access requires the higher tier.

Who it's for

Loxo suits recruiting and executive-search firms that want sourcing, CRM, ATS, outreach and AI task assistance in one platform. Its migration offer is especially relevant to Core teams of three or more seats. Smaller teams can still use guided self-serve migration, but do not receive that free migration service.

Teams that require enterprise governance or dedicated support should consider Enterprise. Organizations that need only a narrower messaging or CRM workflow may find Loxo's combined recruiting scope and annual per-user plans more than they need.

Pros and cons

Pro: Natural-language AI search is included in every plan, so it is not reserved for the higher paid tiers.
Pro: Agents can cover multiple recruiting tasks, while candidate decisions stay with a person.
Pro: Core allows unlimited jobs, candidates and companies, and eligible teams of three or more seats receive free migration.
Con: Paid plans are billed annually and paid up front, making the per-month figure part of a larger commitment.
Con: Professional credits expire at the end of each cycle and are pooled across the team, requiring teams to plan use rather than bank unused allowance.
Con: API access sits in Professional, and SSO/SAML and advanced governance require Enterprise.

Alternatives

Eightfold Candidate Relationship Management is worth considering when a team is already using Eightfold Talent Acquisition: it is described as part of that platform with no additional technology purchase.
Sense is a messaging-focused alternative, with 1:1 and bulk messaging, conversation search, templates and shared inboxes in its Sense SMS/WhatsApp Messaging plan at 500.00 USD per month, billed starting at.
MyTalent CRM is another paid CRM option, with extension and web platforms and subscription pricing available by inquiry.
Phenom Talent CRM is an enterprise-priced web CRM option for teams prepared to contact Phenom for pricing.
Beamery is an enterprise subscription alternative whose pricing can depend on contacts, email sends, users, products and additional features.
Recruit CRM is a paid web, iOS and Android option; its Pro plan includes unlimited open jobs, while Business adds automated email sequencing, bulk texting and resume formatting.
HireOnboard CRM uses per-job credits, starting at 200.00 USD per credit with discounts down to $30 each for 1000 credits; unused credits carry forward, unlike Loxo Professional credits.
Untap Talent is a paid web option with a Starter plan at 250.00 USD per month, billed monthly, including unlimited submissions, programs and users, files up to 2 GB each and one training session per month.

Verdict

Loxo is a strong fit for recruiting and executive-search firms that want sourcing, relationship management, tracking and AI task assistance together, especially when human review must remain central. Choose it for the all-in-one scope and AI search across every plan; look elsewhere if annual upfront billing, Professional's non-carryover credit pool or the need for higher-tier API and governance access conflicts with your team's requirements.
