Overview

Jobma is a cloud-based platform for video interviews and candidate assessments, built for recruiting teams that need to screen candidates across roles, locations, or hiring volumes. It is strongest for employers combining asynchronous screening with live interviews and HR-system integrations; its AI outputs assist review, while recruiters and hiring teams retain hiring decisions.

Key features

Jobma supports one-way asynchronous, live, and autonomous AI interviews, giving teams several ways to evaluate candidates. One-way interviews are unlimited across its plans, while live-interview access and volume limits vary by plan—an important distinction for teams that conduct most screening asynchronously versus those that rely on conversations with candidates.

Assessments span communication, language proficiency, technical skills, cognitive abilities, and role-based competencies. AI-generated summaries, scores, transcripts, and recruiter evaluations can help organize candidate reviews, but Jobma frames these as support for human evaluation rather than replacements for hiring decisions. Candidates must be informed and give explicit consent before proceeding with AI-assisted features.

ATS, HRMS, CRM, background-screening, and other HR integrations connect Jobma with recruiting workflows. Named integrations include Greenhouse, Workday, Oracle, and iCIMS. Interview recording and templates are supported. The product is cloud-based and does not require installation, which suits distributed hiring teams but leaves employers looking for a self-hosted deployment without a stated fit.

Jobma says it is SOC 2 Type II compliant and ISO/IEC 27001 certified, and compliant with GDPR and CCPA. It says data in transit is protected with SSL/TLS and stored data is encrypted at rest. Candidate support is available by live chat and email on every plan; phone support is reserved for Professional and Enterprise.

Pricing

Jobma is paid, with custom pricing based on hiring needs, team size, and usage. There is no free plan, and candidates can use the service for free. Buyers should compare the seat, position, live-interview, integration, and invitation allowances against their expected recruiting volume, and confirm phone-support eligibility as part of plan selection.

Starter: Custom pricing; 1 user, 5 active positions, unlimited one-way interviews, 1 ATS integration, and no bulk invitations. It suits a single recruiter screening asynchronously, but the absence of bulk invitations and live interviews limits broader campaigns.
Growth: Custom pricing; 3 users, 15 active positions, unlimited one-way interviews, 1 live interview session per month, 3 ATS integrations, and 25 bulk invitations per upload. It adds team capacity and integrations, though one live session monthly makes it a poor fit for interview-heavy hiring.
Professional: Custom pricing; 10 users, 60 active positions, unlimited one-way and live interviews, unlimited ATS integrations, and 100 bulk invitations. This is the clearest fit for established teams needing regular live interviewing and phone support.
Enterprise: Custom pricing; unlimited users and active positions, unlimited one-way and live interviews, unlimited ATS integrations, and 200 bulk invitations. It is aimed at large hiring operations that need broad access and position capacity; the invitation allowance remains capped at 200.

All plans include candidate live-chat and email support. Plan details do not state a trial, renewal term, or paid-plan price, so teams should obtain a quote and confirm terms before committing.

Platforms

Jobma is available on Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. Its Android and iOS apps serve both employers and candidates, while the cloud-based service requires no installation.

Who it's for

Recruiters, hiring managers, staffing firms, and enterprise teams can use Jobma to coordinate interview screening and skills assessments in one recruiting workflow. Its broad interview formats and HR integrations are particularly relevant to high-volume, global, or specialized hiring. A solo recruiter with modest needs may find Starter's five active positions adequate, but teams needing frequent live sessions or bulk outreach should look beyond its entry tier.

Pros and cons

Pro: Multiple interview formats and broad assessment categories let teams evaluate candidates through more than one screening method.
Pro: Unlimited ATS integrations on Professional and Enterprise can support teams working across recruiting systems.
Pro: Explicit candidate consent for AI-assisted features and stated security certifications give employers defined safeguards to consider.
Con: No free plan and custom pricing make Jobma harder to assess against a recruiting budget before requesting a quote.
Con: Starter has no bulk invitations, while Growth limits live interviewing to one session monthly; both constrain teams with active outreach or interview schedules.
Con: Phone support is limited to Professional and Enterprise, so lower-tier buyers must rely on chat and email.

Alternatives

For a different paid video-interviewing option, consider interviewstream; its stated platform coverage includes Android, iOS, macOS, web, and API.

Hyring is worth comparing if a free tier matters: its Free plan includes 50 credits per month, one seat, one active job post, English only, and one AI voice, while its Pro plan is $79.00 USD per month.

Teams seeking open-source software they can host themselves should consider Aural, which is available under the MIT license and also offers a free plan.

Talview may suit buyers who prefer unit-based tailored pricing and choosing individual features or bundles; its stated minimum commitment is typically approximately 150 to 200 candidates.

For a freemium option with published per-job monthly tiers, compare EasyHire.me: its entry plan is 49.00 USD per month and includes 10 interviews monthly, 3 team members, and one month of interview storage.

HireVue, VidCruiter, and Criteria are other paid alternatives.

Verdict

Jobma is a strong candidate for recruiting teams that need multiple interview formats, structured assessments, and HR integrations in a cloud-based workflow. Its human-led approach to AI evaluation and broad plan capacities at the upper tiers are appealing, but custom pricing, no free plan, and restrictive lower-tier live-interview and invitation limits are reasons to compare options first. Choose it when those recruiting capabilities justify a quote; look elsewhere if transparent pricing, a free tier, or frequent live interviews on an entry plan are priorities.
