Overview

Hubble is an AI-powered user research platform for UX teams that need to plan studies, gather participant feedback and turn findings into shareable analysis. It suits teams combining prototype tests, interviews and in-product surveys; its strongest case is bringing those methods together, while response caps make plan choice important.

Key features

Research can span unmoderated and AI-moderated work, moderated studies, surveys, in-product surveys, and diary and concept studies. In unmoderated tests, participants complete tasks on their own time against prototypes or live websites, and researchers can review recordings and feedback. That flexibility suits teams studying task completion without scheduling each session, while moderated studies provide another format when the research calls for it.

Hubble's AI can tag interview transcripts, identify recurring themes and synthesize findings across interviews. Its Hubble MCP assistant can help create studies, conduct interviews and analyze feedback, with users approving changes or suggestions during research planning. This can consolidate planning and synthesis, though the Free plan's AI study generation and rephrasing should not be confused with Pro's one monthly AI report or Enterprise's unlimited reports.

Recruitment tools include screening questions, scheduling, incentives through Tremendous or participant credits, and consent-document sharing. Hubble names Respondent, User Interviews and Cint as panel providers; Prolific is coming soon. Figma integration is included in Free and Pro. For product teams, JavaScript Web SDK documentation covers embedded surveys, attribute-based targeting and event-triggered surveys; web and mobile SDKs can embed survey modals and collect responses.

The platform supports Android, iOS and web, as well as API access. Hubble states that it is SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and GDPR compliant. Enterprise adds Okta or Microsoft Enterprise SAML SSO, role-based access control and enterprise security documentation. Developer support is directed through a community Slack group.

Pricing

Plan	Price and terms	What it includes
Free	0.00 USD per free	1 seat, 10 responses per month, 1 prototype per study, AI study generation and rephrasing, Figma integration and research templates.
Pro	120.00 USD per month, per seat, billed monthly	100 responses per month, up to 3 seats at $120 each, 1 prototype per study, video and audio recording, custom question bank and 1 AI report per month.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Custom seats and responses, moderated studies, custom templates, unlimited AI reports, participant panel access, SSO, role-based access control and enterprise security documentation.

Free is a useful starting point for one researcher, but its 10-response monthly cap and single prototype per study constrain repeated testing. Pro raises the monthly response allowance to 100 and adds recordings, but the per-seat price makes team size a direct cost: three seats are $120 each per month. Its one monthly AI report may not suit teams that need frequent synthesis. Enterprise is the fit for custom capacity, panel access and access controls; its price is custom.

Platforms

Hubble supports Android, iOS and web, with API access. Its SDKs are relevant to teams collecting feedback inside their own products, not only through standalone studies.

Who it's for

Hubble is best suited to UX teams that want recruitment, study planning, execution, analysis and sharing in one workspace. It is also a strong candidate for product teams embedding surveys in web or mobile experiences. Solo researchers with modest needs can start on Free; teams that depend on more than 10 monthly responses, recordings or several seats will need to weigh Pro's per-seat cost.

Pros and cons

Pro: A broad mix of study methods, participant tools and AI synthesis can support varied research workflows in one platform.
Pro: Web and mobile SDKs support embedded surveys, targeting and event-triggered collection, extending research into the product itself.
Pro: Free includes Figma integration, templates and AI study generation, giving a single seat a concrete way to begin.
Con: Free's 10 responses per month is a tight ceiling for ongoing research.
Con: Pro charges per seat at $120 monthly, and includes only one AI report per month.
Con: Enterprise's custom pricing makes it harder to budget before discussing requirements.

Alternatives

For a wider category comparison, browse Usability Testing Software.

Lyssna is worth comparing if you want unlimited quick studies: its Free plan includes three seats and 15 self-recruited test and survey responses.

UXArmy offers a free plan with one full seat and 15 monthly credits, but no recordings or participant panel—an option for smaller projects that can forgo those tools.

Userfeel may suit researchers bringing their own testers: its Free plan includes three monthly credits, one admin, demographic filters and screener questions.

Trymata is an alternative for teams preferring pay-as-needed test credits over a subscription; its PayGO plan allows any number of studies and stores results for up to six months.

Userlytics is a paid alternative with a listed $34 per participant or session price and unlimited seats on its Enterprise annual plan.

UXtweak offers a free plan with all research tools under limitations, one active study, 15 responses per month and 14 days of results access; it is a reasonable comparison for a small study workflow.

QuestionPunk is another free option, with 20 responses per month, AI interviews and follow-ups, templates, report export and community support.

Verdict

Hubble is a strong choice for UX teams that want one workspace for mixed-method research, participant coordination and AI-assisted analysis, especially when embedded product surveys matter. The breadth is its main draw; the Free response cap and Pro's $120-per-seat monthly cost are the clearest reasons to look elsewhere if research volume or team size is high.
