Overview

Unmind is a workplace mental health platform that brings together human support, learning and wellbeing tools for organizations. It is best suited to employers wanting to offer employees several routes to support and give managers practical training. Its breadth is appealing, but custom enterprise pricing makes it a less straightforward choice for smaller organizations comparing costs.

Key features

Therapy, coaching and live support

Employees can access qualified therapists and coaches, with live sessions as part of the offer. Nova can also connect people with therapy, coaching or a helpline. This mix gives organizations options beyond self-guided resources, though live support is not a substitute for urgent care.

Learning and manager training

Short practical learning content gives employees a self-guided route, while accredited manager training is designed to help leaders support their teams. That combination makes Unmind relevant to employers aiming to build managers' capability as well as provide individual support.

Nova and crisis support

Nova offers private chats, evidence-based tips and handoffs to human support. It supports multiple languages across 140 countries and works on any device. It is not an emergency or crisis intervention service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, assessment or treatment; anyone needing that kind of care must use an appropriate service.

Unmind also includes a 24/7 global helpline, critical incident coverage and practical work-life support for concerns such as money worries and family care. These provisions broaden the offer beyond mental health content, particularly for organizations with employees across regions.

Employer insights and integrations

Advanced employer reporting and anonymised insights can help organizations identify wellbeing trends and where support may be needed. Unmind describes more than 1,000 HRIS integrations, access through Microsoft Teams and Slack integration, which may make it easier to fit the platform into existing workplace tools.

Security and member help

Unmind says its security framework is based on ISO 27001 and lists Cyber Essentials, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, EU AI Act and HIPAA in its Trust Center. Members can turn to the Help Center for advice from the Unmind team on topics including therapy and coaching, EAP services, Nova and technical issues.

Pricing

Unmind workplace platform

Unmind uses custom pricing: enterprise agreements are negotiated according to population, geography and scope, and rates are not published. This suits organizations seeking a tailored agreement, but buyers cannot compare a standard per-seat price or estimate costs without speaking with Unmind. The offer includes therapy and coaching access, live sessions, mindfulness content and advanced employer reporting; no trial, seat minimum or renewal terms are stated.

Platforms

Unmind is available on the web, Android and iOS. Its mobile apps are distributed through the Play Store and App Store, and workplace access is also available through Microsoft Teams, with Slack integration described as well.

Who it's for

Unmind is a strong fit for organizations that want one workplace benefit to combine professional support, practical learning, manager training and employer-level wellbeing insights. Its global helpline and Nova's multilingual reach may be especially useful to employers supporting people across countries. It is less suited to buyers who need transparent pricing before engaging a vendor, or to anyone seeking an emergency or medical service through Nova.

Pros and cons

Pro: Therapy, coaching, live sessions, mindfulness and manager training cover both individual support and workplace capability-building.
Pro: A 24/7 global helpline, critical incident coverage and practical work-life support extend the offer beyond self-guided wellbeing content.
Pro: Anonymised insights and advanced employer reporting give organizations a way to understand wellbeing trends.
Con: Custom enterprise pricing and unpublished rates make budgeting and direct price comparison harder.
Con: Nova is not for emergencies or medical care, so it cannot stand in for crisis or clinical services.

Alternatives

Employee Mental Health Software and Employee Wellbeing Software are category lists for comparing services in those areas.

Health Advocate EAP is another paid option available on web, iOS and Android.
Choose Headspace for Organizations if its $45.00 USD per year Core for Small Businesses plan, billed annually per employee, better fits your budget; its displayed price varies by organization size.
Modern Health is another paid employer-sponsored benefit with custom PEPM pricing and features determined by the benefit package.
Lyra Health is another paid option available on web, iOS and Android.
Spring Health is another paid option available on web and iOS.
Talkspace for Business is another paid option available on web, iOS and Android.
Amaha for Work is another paid option available on web, iOS and Android.
Choose Oliva if a published toolbox price is preferable: its plan is €5.00 EUR per month per person, with an extra session fee of €65, a desktop and mobile app, 38 languages and 24/7 support lines.

Verdict

Choose Unmind if you are an organization seeking a broad workplace wellbeing offer that combines human support, employee learning and manager development. Its strongest case is the range of support paired with organizational insights; look elsewhere if published pricing is essential or if you need Nova to provide emergency or medical care.
