Overview

RhinoFit Sign-In Kiosk is a self-service gym check-in tool connected to RhinoFit’s broader gym-management platform. It suits gyms that want members to check in independently and want attendance data alongside scheduling, payments, and member records. Its appeal is the combination; its free plan’s 20-active-user ceiling makes it a limited starting point for growing gyms.

Key features

Members can check themselves in on a laptop, desktop, or tablet, using either a touchscreen or mouse. That can reduce front-desk check-in work, though the kiosk is part of a wider platform rather than a stand-alone attendance screen.

Gyms can personalize a kiosk URL with their logo and a message, and choose whether current members, past members, or prospective members on trial memberships may sign in. The camera option lets members add a profile photo. These settings make the kiosk more adaptable to a gym’s onboarding and access practices, but the allowed check-in groups still need to be configured to fit the facility.

Attendance data can help identify busy periods, popular classes and instructors, and individual visit frequency. RhinoFit also supports QR and mobile check-in, attendance reports, and member use of its iPhone and Android app for class reservations, WODs, benchmarks, and attendance history.

The wider system adds membership management, payment processing, scheduling, digital waivers, product sales, workout tracking, and reporting. DailyStory and Mailchimp are identified as email marketing integrations; website integrations cover calendars, membership and product stores, prospect forms, member login, and the kiosk. This breadth is useful for gyms consolidating operations, but may be more than a business seeking only a basic check-in log needs.

Pricing

Start Up costs 0.00 USD per free and is limited to 20 or less active users. It is a sensible way for an eligible small gym to begin, but that cap leaves little room for growth before a paid plan becomes relevant.

Standard costs 57.00 USD per month, billed monthly. It includes member and staff management, class and appointment scheduling, check-in, reservations and attendance, a tablet kiosk and mobile app, automated payment processing, and email marketing and SMS messaging. For a gym that needs both check-in and routine management tools, this is the clearest fit; the monthly price is a meaningful step up from the capped free plan.

24/7 Access costs 99.00 USD per month for the software license, with door-access hardware purchased separately. It includes Standard features plus a 24/7 door-access control API, mobile key tags, visitation pattern tracking, real-time member access, and dynamic voice notifications. Choose it when extended-hours entry controls matter; the separate hardware purchase adds to the cost.

A 30-day free trial requires no credit card. Standard SaaS billing is month-to-month, so the paid plans do not require an annual commitment.

Platforms

RhinoFit runs on Android, iOS, and the web, and the kiosk works on laptops, desktops, and tablets. Members can use the iPhone or Android app, while gyms can place the kiosk on a suitable computer or tablet.

Who it's for

RhinoFit describes its audience as gyms, personal trainers, studios, sports organizations, member facilities, and training centers. It is strongest for a gym that wants self-service check-in tied to attendance insights and broader membership operations. A small operation with 20 or fewer active users can start free; facilities needing more capacity or the combined management features should weigh Standard. A business looking only for a kiosk, without the surrounding management suite, may find the package broader than necessary.

Pros and cons

Pros: Configurable check-in access and branding let gyms tailor the kiosk to members, former members, or trial prospects.
Pros: Attendance patterns, class and instructor popularity, and individual visit frequency provide several useful views of gym activity.
Pros: Standard combines the kiosk and mobile app with scheduling, payment processing, and member and staff management.
Cons: The free plan stops at 20 or less active users, restricting its usefulness as a long-term option for a larger or expanding gym.
Cons: 24/7 Access requires separately purchased door hardware, so its 99.00 USD per month software price is not the full entry cost.
Cons: The extensive management suite may be unnecessary for a facility that needs only simple attendance check-in.

Alternatives

AdviceFit is worth comparing if a freemium option is the priority; its Free plan is 0.00 USD per free, while Basic is 25.00 USD per month. Attenditai is a fit to consider for a check-in-focused free tier: its Free plan supports up to 50 attendees, unlimited sheets, one extra team member, and QR/barcode, public QR link, and Web Kiosk check-in.

MoveMembers offers a free plan capped at 20 active members, with class scheduling, online booking, a member portal, and self check-in. BJJChat Attendance System is a free option with no tiers or per-member fees and unlimited coaches and students. Gym Ledger and Organised Gym are other freemium alternatives.

Kenko QR Check-Ins may suit a buyer seeking a paid check-in and membership app: Pro is 199.00 USD per month and includes its iOS and Android member app, scheduling and memberships, team tasks, permissions, and attendance. Gymanger is a paid alternative with a Starter plan at 4999.00 PKR per month.

Verdict

Choose RhinoFit if your gym wants a configurable self-check-in kiosk whose attendance data sits alongside scheduling, payments, and member management. Its chief limitation is the 20-active-user free-plan cap, while its chief reason to look elsewhere is that a check-in-only business may not need the wider suite. For facilities ready to use those connected tools, Standard at 57.00 USD per month is the most direct fit.
