Overview

Mybers is membership software for associations, clubs, studios, and gyms that need to manage members, activities, communications, and payments together. It suits small and mid-sized groups that want unlimited member records without per-member plan caps. Its strongest case is the breadth of its membership toolkit; email quotas, payment fees, and plan-dependent integrations still deserve a close look.

Key features

Member records and participation

Custom fields, membership levels, tags, self-registration, a member portal, and QR code cards give organizations several ways to organize records and let members engage with them. Events can be in-person, virtual, or hybrid, with ticketing, registration, and check-in; recurring classes and appointments extend the system to groups that run regular programming. That range is useful for clubs and studios as well as conventional associations, though it means choosing Mybers for more than dues administration alone.

Payments and communications

Payments go through the organization’s own Stripe account, so funds go directly to it. Self-serve plans charge 1% on dues and 2% on class passes; those fees matter for organizations with substantial payment volume. Email broadcasts offer audience filters, merge fields, scheduling, delivery tracking, and CAN-SPAM-compliant unsubscribe links. The monthly email allowance, rather than the member count, is the key scale limit on the published plans.

AI, integrations, and control

Mynd adds an AI phone agent for inbound calls and renewal outreach, plain-English member-data queries, drafted communications, and setup assistance. These capabilities may appeal to teams looking to reduce routine administrative work, but Pro’s AI voice and SMS usage credits are a plan-specific distinction. The feature page names HubSpot, Mailchimp, Stripe, Slack, Zapier, and QuickBooks, with integration availability varying by plan and potentially requiring managed or custom arrangements.

For organizations building connections of their own, Mybers offers scoped API keys, a REST API, and HMAC-signed webhooks. Each webhook is delivered once without automatic retry, a practical consideration for systems that need to recover from missed deliveries. Mybers says it encrypts data in transit, uses scoped access controls, stores payment identifiers and amounts rather than full card numbers, and does not use customer data to train third-party foundation models.

Setup and support

Migration can include field mapping, a dry-run preview, and one-click undo within 24 hours; named sources include WildApricot, MemberClicks, MemberPlanet, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Eventbrite, as well as CSV files. That rollback window is a useful safeguard during a move. Support is through the dashboard feedback button or email; Club includes standard support, while Pro adds priority support with an SLA.

Pricing

Mybers is freemium, with a 14-day trial and card payment accepted. Every published plan has unlimited members, so the principal difference between the lower tiers is email capacity and included extras.

Starter: $0.00 USD per free, billed Free forever, with 500 emails per month. It is a sensible starting point for small groups that can stay within the email cap and accept a leaner feature set.
Club: $39.00 USD per month, billed $39/month, with 5,000 emails per month, 1% dues fees, and 2% class-pass fees. It raises the email ceiling substantially without limiting membership size, making it the natural fit for groups that have outgrown Starter’s allowance.
Pro: $79.00 USD per month, billed $79/month, with 10,000 emails per month, the same listed payment fees, and AI voice/SMS usage credits. It suits organizations that need more broadcast capacity or want those AI credits and priority support with an SLA.
Enterprise: custom pricing, with unlimited members. No email quota or other included terms are provided for this tier.

For organizations that collect significant dues or class-pass revenue, the flat transaction fees can be more consequential than the subscription price. Integrations may also be self-serve, managed, or custom depending on plan, so Club or Pro should not be assumed to include every connection in the same way.

Platforms

Mybers supports web, iOS, Android, and an API. It installs from a browser on phones and desktop without an app store; branded organization apps are included on Club and above. That gives lower-tier users browser-based access, while groups wanting their own branded app need at least Club.

Who it's for

Mybers is best suited to small and mid-sized associations, especially those with 50–5,000 members, as well as clubs, gyms, studios, nonprofits, congregations, and other member groups. It is a stronger fit for organizations combining records, events or classes, email, and payments than for one seeking only a basic dues ledger. Teams should check that their email volume fits a plan and that their desired integrations are available on their chosen tier.

Pros and cons

Pros: Unlimited members on every published plan avoids per-member caps as an organization grows.
Pros: Member records, portal access, events, classes, payments, and email share one membership platform.
Pros: Migration previews and a 24-hour undo option offer a defined way to review and reverse an import.
Cons: Starter’s 500 monthly emails may constrain groups with active member communications.
Cons: Self-serve dues and class-pass fees add costs beyond the monthly subscription.
Cons: Integrations vary by plan and may involve managed or custom setup; webhooks do not retry automatically.

Verdict

Mybers is a strong choice for a small or mid-sized member organization that wants more than dues collection: member records, programming, communications, and payments are covered in one platform, with unlimited members even on the free tier. The main reasons to look elsewhere are the email caps, percentage fees, and uncertainty around plan-specific integration arrangements. Start with Starter if 500 emails a month is enough; move up when the higher allowance or Pro’s AI credits and support terms justify the added cost.
