Overview

Enflux brings together data from learning management systems, assessment tools, surveys and exam results. Its dashboards cover student performance, advising, assessment analysis and accreditation reporting, with views from institutional performance down to individual students. That connected view is useful when program leaders need to relate outcomes to assessments and curriculum; it may be more platform than needed for institutions seeking only a single-purpose tool.

A single instance can serve multiple programs, specializations or university systems, with filters for campuses and programs. The cloud service runs online without local installation, software updates or dedicated IT setup. Enflux says data is stored on AWS and encrypted in transit and at rest; it states that it is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and FERPA compliant, and provides HECVAT and VPAT documentation. Single sign-on supports centralized access.

Key features

Analytics and early alerts

Custom dashboards, predictive analytics, learner risk scoring and intervention alerts help academic teams identify students who may need attention and organize advising around risk indicators. Alerts are described as real time, which favors teams able to act promptly on emerging concerns. These capabilities support intervention, but they do not replace the advising work itself.

CompetencyGenie and curriculum mapping

CompetencyGenie uses AI to tag ExamSoft exam items, classify competencies and align curriculum to discipline-specific frameworks and competency-based models. It is available as a Chrome extension for ExamSoft users, making it particularly relevant to programs already using that assessment tool. The extension states that it does not access student data, save questions or use data for unrelated purposes. Programs outside the ExamSoft workflow will have less reason to choose this feature.

Accreditation and reporting

Enflux connects curriculum, assessments and student outcomes to accreditation standards, with reporting and audit trails for accreditation and curriculum evaluation. That can reduce the work of assembling evidence across multiple program sources. Named integrations and partners include ExamSoft, Canvas, CORE Higher Education Group, Blackboard, PeopleAdmin and GoCulture.

Deployment and support

Initial onboarding can be completed within a week, while most customers finish within 30 days of signing a contract. Administrative users can schedule training with a Customer Success Manager. Live chat is available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm CST, with email support also offered. The weekday support window may be a constraint for teams needing live help outside those hours.

Pricing

Enflux is paid, with custom pricing for the platform; institutions can request a demo or assessment call. The Enflux platform has no published price, so buyers should establish the cost against their number of programs, campuses and intended use before comparing budgets.

CompetencyGenie Chrome extension is 0.00 USD per free. It is a useful low-commitment way for ExamSoft users to try the competency-tagging workflow, but it is not a substitute for the broader Enflux analytics, advising and accreditation platform. No usage cap is stated for the extension.

Platforms

Enflux runs on the web and offers the CompetencyGenie Chrome extension for ExamSoft users. The cloud deployment avoids local installation and update management, while single sign-on supports centralized access.

Who it's for

Enflux is aimed at academic leaders and health professions programs, including pharmacy, physician assistant, medical, dental, nursing, physical therapy and allied health. It is a strong candidate for institutions coordinating multiple programs or campuses and seeking shared analytics, advising and accreditation evidence. Buyers focused only on general-purpose statistical modeling, or who do not use ExamSoft and need no wider student analytics platform, should weigh whether its specialized capabilities justify custom pricing.

Pros and cons

Pros

Connected program and student views: It consolidates learning, assessment, survey and exam data, supporting analysis across advising, performance and accreditation.
Purpose-built competency mapping: CompetencyGenie tags ExamSoft items against frameworks, a focused aid for programs managing competency-based curricula.
Multi-program support: One instance can cover university systems, campuses and specializations through filters.
Security and compliance provisions: AWS hosting with encryption, stated SOC 2 Type 2 certification and FERPA compliance, plus HECVAT and VPAT documentation, address institutional review needs.

Cons

Platform pricing requires a sales conversation: Custom pricing makes budget comparison harder before a demo or assessment call.
CompetencyGenie is tied to ExamSoft: Its curriculum-tagging workflow is specifically for ExamSoft users, limiting its relevance to programs using other assessment tools.
Live chat has weekday hours: Support is available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm CST, not around the clock.

Verdict

Choose Enflux if a health professions program needs linked student analytics, advising, ExamSoft competency mapping and accreditation reporting, particularly across multiple programs. Its integrated scope and targeted curriculum tools are the case for buying; custom platform pricing and the ExamSoft-specific extension are the reasons to look elsewhere if your needs are narrower or your assessment workflow differs.
