Overview

Dtravel is a vacation-rental platform for operators who want a direct-booking site alongside listing distribution and payment tools. It suits hosts building a direct channel, whether or not they already use a property management system. The main trade-off is a free entry plan with booking fees versus paid tiers that change those fees and raise listing limits.

Key features

Direct booking and distribution

The no-code site builder offers AI-assisted design, themes, branding and custom domains, giving hosts a way to present a direct-booking business without building a site from scratch. Operators with an existing website can use the embeddable booking widget, including on WordPress; it accepts card, crypto and buy-now-pay-later payments. Listings can also be distributed through Google Vacation Rentals, mini-apps, Directo browser extensions and Dtravel Collectives. Distribution has no upfront cost, but bookings from those channels incur a success-based fee, so hosts should weigh the added reach against the economics of each booking.

PMS, payments and guest safeguards

Dtravel works without a PMS or can connect to one to sync calendars, rates and listing content. Its live direct integrations include Hospitable, Hostaway, Hostkit, Rentalwise and Uplisting, a useful degree of flexibility for operators who already rely on one of those systems. Payment options include Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Affirm, Afterpay, Klarna, MetaMask and Polygon.

Truvi integration adds automated guest screening, ID verification and fraud checks. Truvi also offers optional damage protection of up to $5,000,000 per incident, with claims submitted up to 48 hours after checkout. That is a substantial stated coverage ceiling, but it is an optional plan rather than a core Dtravel inclusion.

Pricing

Dtravel has a free Starter plan, a 14-day trial and paid plans from $19/mo. The fee and listing rules matter as much as the monthly price:

Starter: 0.00 USD per month (billed $0/month), up to 25 listings, a 5% booking fee and a 9% referred booking fee. It fits new or casual hosts who want to start without a subscription, but the standard booking fee takes a material share of direct bookings.
Pro: 19.00 USD per month (billed $19/month for up to 4 listings, then $0.50 to $2 per listing), up to 250 listings, a 9% referred booking fee and a 0% standard booking fee after $5,000 USD in cumulative booking volume. This is aimed at professional hosts and property managers; the threshold means the standard fee does not disappear immediately, and costs can rise with listings.
Enterprise: 500.00 USD per month (starts at $500/month; contact for a custom quote), unlimited listings, a custom referred booking fee, dedicated support and an account manager. It is the relevant tier for property management companies needing unlimited listings and account-level support, but the starting price and custom fee structure warrant a close cost check.

Support also scales by tier: Starter has normal support, Pro adds high-priority support and an onboarding call, and Enterprise adds dedicated support and account management. The stated property limit is 4 properties, so hosts should confirm how that limit applies to their use before choosing a plan, particularly since plan listing allowances are higher.

Platforms

Dtravel is available on the web and as an extension. Online payments, a direct booking engine and channel manager are among its listed capabilities.

Who it's for

Dtravel is strongest for vacation-rental operators who want a branded direct channel, multiple payment methods and optional connections to a supported PMS. Starter is a practical starting point for casual hosts willing to pay the booking fee; Pro better suits professional operators who can benefit from higher listing capacity and the standard-fee waiver after the volume threshold. Enterprise targets larger property-management companies. Hosts focused on a simple fixed subscription, or who need a different PMS connection, should compare alternatives before committing.

Pros and cons

Pros: The builder supports custom branding and domains, while the widget extends direct booking to an existing site.
Pros: Hosts can operate without a PMS or connect one of five named live integrations, rather than being required to migrate systems.
Pros: The payment mix spans conventional cards and wallets, buy-now-pay-later services and crypto options.
Cons: Starter charges 5% on bookings, and Pro retains a 9% fee on referred bookings; free access does not mean fee-free bookings.
Cons: Pro's standard booking fee reaches 0% only after $5,000 USD in cumulative booking volume, and its price rises with listings beyond four.
Cons: Enterprise starts at $500/month and has a custom referred fee, making it a less transparent fit for smaller operators.

Alternatives

For a site-building comparison, browse Vacation Rental Website Builders or Property Management Website Builder Software.

Goliday is another freemium option; consider it when its free plan's one-property limit and one language are sufficient, or its paid plan's stated 15.00 EUR per year is a better fit.
Hospitable has a free Essentials plan for unlimited active properties and a $29.00 USD monthly Host plan for one included active property; it is worth comparing if property-management coverage is the priority.
Houfy offers a free option with a one-time $5.99 host verification fee to appear in search, plus instant payments, calendar sync and unlimited photos; choose it if those terms suit better than Dtravel's booking-fee structure.
Tokeet has a $14.99 USD monthly AdvanceCM plan with 50+ channel connections, automated messaging, rate automation, invoicing and payments; compare it if those channel and operating tools matter more.
iGMS is a paid alternative with a FLEX plan priced at $1.00 USD per booked night, a $20 per property/month minimum and 0% booking fee; it may suit operators preferring a per-booked-night structure.
Lodgix is a paid option at 79.99 USD per month for 1–7 properties, which may be preferable when a month-to-month property-band price is a better fit.
Guesty is a paid alternative with a Lite plan starting at $9/month per listing for 1–3 listings; compare it if that listing range and per-listing pricing suits your operation.
Hostex is a paid alternative for hosts to compare with Dtravel.

Verdict

Dtravel is a good fit for hosts who want a branded direct-booking channel with distribution, varied payment options and the choice to connect a supported PMS. Its free Starter tier lowers the barrier to entry, but the 5% booking fee and Pro's volume threshold make fee math essential. Look elsewhere if those booking charges, the four-property stated limit or Enterprise's $500/month starting point do not match your operation.
