Overview

desk.ly is a hybrid-workplace platform for organisations coordinating desks, rooms and parking across an office. It is best suited to teams that need booking and occupancy analytics in one system; its main trade-off is that mobile booking and advanced integrations sit behind higher-tier plans.

Employees can reserve spaces, while administrators can use booking and occupancy information to understand workplace utilisation. The browser version requires an internet connection, but no special software, hardware or servers.

Compare it with our Desk Booking Software and Room Booking Software directories when weighing booking tools.

Key features

Bookings across the office

Desk.ly covers desks, meeting rooms and parking, with floor-plan views and booking check-in. That breadth can keep everyday office reservations together, but room and parking booking require Enterprise or above, so Corporate is primarily a desk-booking tier.

Utilisation and occupancy

Analytics use booking data to show occupancy and utilisation, helping organisations spot opportunities to optimise their workspace. The desk.ly Connect add-on goes further by tracking actual workplace use, automating check-in and providing utilisation insights without costly hardware investments. This distinction matters: organisations needing actual-use data rather than booking-derived patterns should consider the add-on.

Visitors, apps and integrations

Visitors can have desks, meeting rooms or parking booked for their office visits; guest booking is included in Enterprise. The native iOS and Android apps support booking desks, rooms and parking, but the plan comparison includes the app in Enterprise and Enterprise Plus, not Corporate.

The site advertises more than 250 integrations, including Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Google Calendar. Enterprise Plus adds HRIS integrations such as Workday, Personio and SAP SuccessFactors, Google and Outlook calendar synchronisation, and a RESTful API. Organisations that depend on those specific connections should factor the Enterprise Plus custom price into their decision.

Pricing

Desk.ly is freemium, with a free plan and paid plans from €1.65/user/mo. The plan comparison gives these terms and inclusions:

Free: 0.00 EUR per free, for up to 15 users for as long as you like. It includes Enterprise features, making it a substantial starting point for a small team, though the 15-user ceiling rules out larger rollouts.
Corporate: 165.00 EUR per month, billed per user and month. Includes desk booking, analytics, Microsoft/Google SSO and a Microsoft Teams app. It lacks the mobile app, meeting-room and parking bookings, and guest booking included at the next tier.
Enterprise: 275.00 EUR per month, billed per user and month. Adds meeting rooms and catering, parking, guest booking, the mobile app and personalised customer support to Corporate features. It fits organisations coordinating several kinds of office use, though the per-user monthly billing can make scaling consequential.
Enterprise Plus: Custom pricing. Includes Enterprise features, 300+ licenses, API, HRIS integrations, calendar synchronisation and heatmap analytics. This is aimed at larger deployments needing those integrations and analytics; smaller teams may not need the added scope.

A free trial is available. Every plan is marked GDPR compliant and ISO/IEC 27001 certified.

Platforms

Desk.ly is available on web, Android and iOS, with an API also listed among its platforms. Browser access needs an internet connection. The mobile apps support booking desks, meeting rooms and parking, but are included only with Enterprise and Enterprise Plus according to the plan comparison.

Who it's for

Desk.ly is a strong fit for hybrid-work organisations that want desk booking and office-use analytics together, and for larger teams that need to coordinate rooms, parking and guest visits. It is less compelling for teams that require mobile booking on Corporate or need Enterprise Plus integrations without taking on custom pricing.

Pros and cons

Pros: Desk, room and parking bookings, visitor reservations and occupancy analytics bring multiple workplace tasks into one platform.
Pros: The free plan lasts indefinitely for up to 15 users, giving small teams room to assess the service without a time-limited plan.
Pros: Enterprise Plus includes a RESTful API and named HRIS integrations for organisations with more complex systems.
Cons: Corporate excludes the mobile app, meeting rooms, parking and guest booking, so teams needing these must move to Enterprise.
Cons: Enterprise Plus uses custom pricing, making it harder to judge the cost of its advanced integrations and 300+ license threshold in advance.

Alternatives

Kadence is another freemium option with desk and room booking, visitor management, workplace analytics, move management and interactive floor plans; choose it when move management is a priority.

Deska is a freemium alternative available on web and iOS.

Verdict

Choose desk.ly if your hybrid workplace needs booking across desks, rooms and parking alongside occupancy analytics, especially if you can start within the 15-user free limit or need Enterprise's broader booking scope. Look elsewhere if mobile booking is essential on a lower tier or if Enterprise Plus custom pricing makes its integrations difficult to justify.
