Overview

DojoTrack combines student and lead records, class administration, billing, attendance, and belt progress for martial arts schools. It suits studios that want enrollment and retention signals alongside day-to-day administration, but its free plan is tightly capped and its paid plans start at $95.00 USD per month.

It serves disciplines ranging from Taekwondo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to Karate, MMA, Muay Thai, Judo, Kung Fu, and kickboxing. The breadth is useful for multi-discipline schools; smaller operators should weigh the free tier’s limits against the cost of moving to a paid plan.

Key features

Studio and member administration

Student, lead, class, billing, attendance, and belt-progress records sit within one management platform. Member import, digital signatures, and kiosk mode are also listed. These capabilities make DojoTrack relevant to schools consolidating routine administration, though no specific workflows or limits are given for those three tools.

The free plan supports up to 50 students, 10 classes, and 3 staff, with 90 days of attendance history. It also includes two email templates and one waiver template. Those caps give a small studio room to organize its operations, but the short attendance window may constrain longer-term comparisons.

Leads and retention

Free users get a lead pipeline for up to 25 leads, one website form, and AI lead scoring. DojoTrack also analyzes attendance and payment patterns to flag students who may be at risk of leaving. That combination is aimed at studios that actively follow up with prospects and want an early warning about disengagement; it does not replace staff judgment or outreach.

Billing, communication, and student app

Paid plans add Stripe billing and access to the student app, which includes belt curriculum, a studio store, and push notifications. Gmail integration and Twilio email and SMS options are named. For text messaging, a DojoTrack phone number costs $2/month plus $0.017 per text; connecting an existing Twilio account has no additional cost to DojoTrack.

Data handling and support

DojoTrack says it uses encryption in transit and at rest, security assessments and updates, access controls, and secure data centers. Attendance records are deleted three months after creation, and accounts may be deleted after six months of inactivity. Those retention terms matter to studios that need historical attendance records or long-inactive accounts preserved. The company says it responds to inquiries within 24–48 business hours and gives support@dojotrack.com as its contact email.

Pricing

DojoTrack has a free plan and a 14-day trial. It is a practical starting point for a small school, but it omits paid-plan Stripe billing and the student app.

Plan	Price	Student capacity
Launch	95.00 USD per month	Up to 100 students
Scale	125.00 USD per month	Up to 200 students
Expand	165.00 USD per month	Up to 300 students
Grow	195.00 USD per month	Up to 500 students
Master	245.00 USD per month	501+ students

Launch is the lowest paid tier and fits a school that has outgrown the free plan’s 50-student cap. Scale, Expand, and Grow raise capacity in steps for larger rosters; Master is for schools above 500 students. The paid plans’ listed differentiator is capacity, and the paid-plan features named are Stripe billing and the student app. Five staff seats are included. No renewal terms are given.

Platforms

DojoTrack is available on Android, iOS, and the web, giving schools a choice of mobile and browser access. The student app is a paid-plan feature.

Who it's for

DojoTrack is best suited to martial arts studios that need one system for prospects, students, classes, billing, attendance, and belt progress, especially those that will use lead scoring and retention flags to guide follow-up. A school with no more than 50 students can start free, while growing studios should budget for at least 95.00 USD per month. It is less compelling for a small operation that does not need paid billing or the student app, or for one that needs attendance records kept longer than three months.

Pros and cons

Pros: The platform brings student, class, lead, billing, attendance, and belt-progress management together, reducing the need to split these functions across separate tools.
Pros: Lead scoring and attendance-and-payment risk flags give staff signals to prioritize prospect follow-up and student retention.
Pros: The free tier includes a lead pipeline, website form, digital signatures, kiosk mode, and member import alongside core studio management.
Cons: The free plan stops at 50 students, 10 classes, and 3 staff, and limits attendance history to 90 days.
Cons: Paid access starts at 95.00 USD per month, while Stripe billing and the student app are reserved for paid plans.
Cons: Attendance records are deleted after three months, which may not suit schools that need a longer record.

Alternatives

PushPress is worth considering for a school prioritizing a no-monthly-fee free plan with unlimited leads, admins, members, and staff; its free plan charges transaction fees, including 4.99% + .30 CC and 2.89% + .30 ACH.

RhinoFit Sign-In Kiosk is another freemium option with a free trial for readers comparing a kiosk-focused alternative.

CleverWaiver, WaiverDrop, WaiverForever, and SignShield are alternatives to consider when waiver handling is the priority: CleverWaiver’s BASIC plan is 9.99 USD per month for 70 waivers monthly, WaiverDrop’s free Starter plan includes 10 waivers per month, WaiverForever’s free Starter plan includes 20 submissions per month, and SignShield’s free plan includes 10 waivers per month.

Gym Admin offers a free Starter plan for up to 50 active students with billing, attendance, rank tracking, and student app access; it may suit a school seeking those basics without moving immediately to a paid plan. Uplifter is another freemium alternative with a paid Starter plan at 129.00 USD per month for one location.

Verdict

Choose DojoTrack if your martial arts school wants member and lead administration together with retention signals, and you can work within the free tier or justify a paid plan for Stripe billing and the student app. Its clearest advantage is the combination of studio management and attendance-based risk flags; look elsewhere if you need low-cost paid access, larger free-plan capacity, or attendance records retained beyond three months.
