Overview

Sonalyx combines speech understanding, intent and entity detection, sentiment, rule-based reasoning, system access and action execution, then can confirm outcomes by SMS, WhatsApp or email. That end-to-end workflow is more useful than a voice interface that only answers questions: calls can connect to business processes, with a human handoff available when automation should stop.

Agents are described as handling natural turn-taking, interruptions, context and background noise across inbound and outbound calls. Support for more than 50 languages, including switching languages mid-call, is a meaningful fit for mixed-language service operations. The trade-off is that the Free plan permits just one concurrent call and 20 minutes, too little to assess sustained business traffic.

Key features

Business-system actions: Integrations include Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, SAP, Zendesk, Intercom, Zoho, Shopify, Twilio, WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Calendar, Calendly, Zapier and Sonalyx’s API. This breadth suits workflows that need call outcomes to reach existing systems, rather than remain isolated in a transcript.
Deployment and telephony: Customers can use their own carrier and numbers or Sonalyx’s, with SIP failover, REST and webhooks. VPC or on-premise deployment is offered where required, giving infrastructure-conscious organizations more options than a web-only service.
Controls and audit: Security measures described include encryption in transit and at rest, isolated tenants, secret management, consent capture, retention policies, redaction and right-to-erasure flows. EU hosting is the default, with regional options; actions, system calls and configuration changes are recorded and exportable. These controls are relevant to regulated or audit-sensitive operations, though they do not remove the need to assess fit against an organization’s own requirements.
Support and scaling: Standard support begins with Professional, while Enterprise adds dedicated support and a manager. Concurrent-call limits rise from 10 on Starter to 25 on Professional and 100,000 on Enterprise, a substantial range for businesses with very different call volumes.

Pricing

Sonalyx is freemium, but paid usage is prepaid by actual conversation time. The paid entry point is €200.00 once, not a monthly subscription; readers should budget around included minutes and usage rate rather than assume an ongoing flat fee.

Free — 0.00 EUR per free: 20 free minutes, one concurrent call and an international number, with no credit card required. It is suitable for a small initial evaluation, but its short quota and single-call ceiling do not establish how the service will behave under regular team demand.
Starter — 200.00 EUR per once: 400 survey minutes billed, prepaid usage at €0.50/min, full platform access, no commitment, up to 10 concurrent calls, national numbers and a “Powered by Sonalyx” logo. This is the clearest low-commitment paid option for modest campaigns; the logo and higher per-minute rate are the compromises.
Professional — 1200.00 EUR per once: 3,000 survey minutes billed, prepaid usage at €0.40/min, standard support, user management, custom reports, up to 25 concurrent calls and local numbers. The lower minute rate and added management/reporting tools suit teams operating beyond a small pilot, but require a much larger upfront purchase than Starter.
Enterprise — custom pricing: 10K to 10M minutes billed, volume discounts up to 60%, brand customization without the “Powered by Sonalyx” logo, dedicated support and manager, and up to 100,000 concurrent calls. It is aimed at high-volume deployments needing branded service and closer support; custom pricing means buyers need a tailored quote.

A working demo agent built on a prospect’s content is usually provided within one working day, and an enterprise pilot can be live in 7 days. Those are useful ways to evaluate a deployment before committing to larger prepaid volumes, but they do not change the plans’ minute limits or pricing terms.

Platforms

Sonalyx is offered as an API, self-hosted deployment and web platform. That combination is best for organizations integrating voice into existing systems or requiring deployment control; it is less directly aimed at individuals looking for a consumer mobile app.

Who it's for

Sonalyx is a strong candidate for customer-care, technical-support, sales, booking, survey and collections teams that need voice agents to do more than converse. Its system integrations, call-direction flexibility and human handoff make it relevant where calls need to produce follow-up actions, while its language range suits multilingual operations. Small teams with light needs may find the Free cap restrictive, and businesses unwilling to prepay minutes should look for a different commercial model.

Pros and cons

Pro: The workflow combines conversation, system actions and confirmations, reducing the gap between a call and its operational follow-up.
Pro: More than 50 languages and mid-call switching support multilingual conversations without limiting the stated workflow to one language per call.
Pro: API, self-hosted, VPC and on-premise options, plus customer-owned telephony, offer deployment flexibility for technical and infrastructure teams.
Con: Free use stops at 20 minutes and one concurrent call, making it an evaluation tier rather than a meaningful ongoing service for most teams.
Con: Starter and Professional require one-time prepaid purchases, so the upfront outlay and finite minute bundles may not suit uncertain or uneven demand.
Con: Starter carries Sonalyx branding and costs €0.50/min, while removing the logo and lowering the stated rate requires moving to Enterprise pricing.

Verdict

Choose Sonalyx if your business needs multilingual voice agents that can act on connected systems and confirm what they have done, with deployment and telephony options to match operational constraints. Its strongest case is the combination of workflow depth, integrations and scale. Look elsewhere if you need substantial free usage or prefer predictable monthly pricing: the free allowance is brief, and paid service is prepaid by conversation time.
