Overview

BookFit brings class and appointment scheduling, client booking, memberships, and payment handling into one system for fitness businesses. It is most compelling for solo trainers and small studios that want clients to book and pay online without taking on a monthly subscription. The trade-off is a transaction fee on Free and a six-user ceiling on Studio.

Key features

Recurring classes, workshops, and private sessions sit alongside capacity rules, waitlists, cancellation policies, reminders, and 24/7 self-booking. That breadth is useful for businesses mixing group classes with one-to-one appointments; capacity controls and waitlists also help manage limited spaces. Automated reminders and client self-booking can reduce routine booking administration.

BookFit handles online sales of memberships and class packs, Stripe payments, receipts and refunds, and package-balance tracking. Client profiles keep histories, notes, and memberships together, with digital waivers for intake. Booking and revenue visibility helps owners monitor activity, while tax tracking and transaction export require Studio.

Members can book through a branded client app and booking site. Custom client apps and websites are optional add-ons, so a business wanting a fully bespoke digital presence should account for that separately. Stripe is the named payment integration. BookFit says data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled databases, with passwords salted and hashed using bcrypt. It says it does not sell personal information, and that customer data remains theirs and can be exported. Onboarding, migration help, one-on-one training, and human replies usually within a few hours add useful support for a studio moving its operations.

Pricing

Free costs 0.00 EUR per free, with no subscription. It includes unlimited clients and bookings, memberships, packs and vouchers, and online payments. The cost to weigh is the all-in payment fee of 3.5% + €0.25. This is a sensible starting point for solo operators who can live with that per-payment charge; it avoids a fixed bill but is not fee-free.

Trainer costs 49.00 EUR per month, or €490 for an annual subscription. It adds unlimited classes, appointments, memberships, packs and vouchers, plus waitlists, sign-up forms and waivers, cash payment recording, and standard support. Stripe fees still apply. It suits a trainer who needs the broader operating toolkit and prefers a predictable subscription, but it does not include Studio's branding, tax tracking, transaction export, or priority support.

Studio costs 89.00 EUR per month, or €890 annually. It includes everything in Trainer, up to six staff users, full booking branding, tax tracking and export, and priority support; Stripe fees still apply. This is the fit for a small team needing those controls, though the cap is one owner account plus up to five staff users. The paid plans have a 30-day trial. Free has no subscription and is not described as a trial plan.

Platforms

BookFit is available on Android, iOS, and the web, giving owners and clients access across mobile and browser. A client mobile app supports booking, while custom client apps are optional add-ons.

Who it's for

BookFit targets solo trainers and fitness businesses across Pilates, yoga, CrossFit, HIIT, strength, personal training, and group fitness. It is a particularly practical match for businesses combining recurring group sessions with private appointments and selling memberships or packs. Studios that need more than six users, or require a custom app or website as standard, should look elsewhere or budget for an add-on.

Verdict

BookFit is a strong choice for solo trainers and small fitness studios that want client self-booking, recurring scheduling, and membership sales together, with a free way to start. Choose it when that consolidated workflow outweighs the payment charges; look elsewhere if you need more than six users or want custom apps and websites included rather than sold as add-ons.
