Overview

BoardPAC supports board work from scheduling and planning through communication and meeting execution. Decision and action-item tracking help carry meeting outcomes into follow-up, while paperless meetings replace reliance on printed board materials. That focused scope makes it more relevant to formal board processes than to teams seeking a general-purpose meeting app.

Organizations can choose cloud deployment or on-premise/self-hosted deployment. The latter gives buyers with infrastructure requirements another deployment path; organizations without those requirements may have less reason to prioritize that flexibility. BoardPAC says it serves more than 50,000 users across over 40 countries.

Key features

Board workflows: Scheduling, monitoring, coordination, planning, communication, and execution cover the work around a meeting as well as the meeting itself. Decision and action-item tracking support accountability afterward.
Qme AI: Real-time data insights and scenario analysis are intended to help board members examine decisions in context.
Video conferencing: Members can join confidential meetings through their preferred video conferencing app from desktop, mobile, or tablet. This leaves room to use a preferred service, though no specific integrations are named.
Access and security: Role-based controls let administrators set user and meeting roles, including limits on actions during live meetings. Multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, remote data wipe, and AES 256-bit encryption add safeguards; the company also states that it holds ISO 27001 and SOC Type 2 certifications.
Support: The company advertises 24/7 support, useful for organizations whose board activity spans schedules or locations.

Pricing

BoardPAC is paid software with custom pricing. Prospective customers can ask about pricing and plans and request a demo, so the cost must be assessed with the organization’s requirements rather than against a published tier.

This sales-led approach may suit boards evaluating deployment and governance needs with a vendor, but it makes early budget comparisons difficult. No public seat limits, quotas, trial terms, or renewal terms are provided.

Platforms

BoardPAC supports Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and web access, alongside self-hosted deployment. That range accommodates mobile and desktop participants as well as organizations that want to host the system themselves.

Who it's for

BoardPAC is best suited to boards and executive teams that need formal meeting coordination, controlled access, and a way to track decisions and actions after meetings. Organizations that require on-premise or self-hosted deployment have an additional reason to consider it. Buyers looking for a low-commitment, publicly priced tool should compare alternatives first.

Pros and cons

Pros: End-to-end board workflows and decision and action tracking support preparation, meetings, and follow-up in one governance-focused platform.
Pros: Role-based controls, live-meeting action limits, and a set of authentication and encryption measures suit sensitive board work.
Pros: Cloud and self-hosted deployment options, broad device support, and advertised 24/7 support give organizations flexibility in how they operate it.
Cons: Custom pricing requires a sales conversation, which makes straightforward budget screening harder.
Cons: Video conferencing works through members' preferred apps, but the specific integrations are not identified, leaving buyers to confirm compatibility.

Alternatives

BoardiGO is worth considering when a small organization wants a free entry point: its Free plan covers one organization, up to 10 users, and 2 GB of storage, with core board-governance workflow and task management. BoardBook Premier is another paid option, developed by the Texas Association of School Boards.

Computershare BoardWorks may fit buyers seeking a subscription with all modules and unlimited committees, though additional users are charged. GlobalBoards is a paid alternative for buyers comparing board software across iOS and web.

Boardable may suit organizations that want a free trial and a published Essentials tier, starting at $20.99 per user per month billed annually. Simbli offers personalized pricing and an implementation proposal after consultation.

Board Director is another paid option with a free trial and custom pricing based on seats, business phase, and organizational complexity. Diligent Audit is worth comparing for buyers looking specifically at audit software; pricing is requested from Diligent.

Verdict

Choose BoardPAC if your board needs structured governance workflows, controlled meeting access, and the flexibility to deploy in the cloud or on your own infrastructure. Its strongest case is the combination of board-specific process coverage and access controls. Look elsewhere if public pricing or a quick cost comparison is essential before engaging a vendor.
