Overview

ApnaComplex is a hosted management service for residential communities, from apartment complexes and gated communities to private layouts, row houses, villas and colonies. It combines tools for community collaboration with help desk, facility management, accounting and apartment security, so its scope reaches beyond resident communication. Societies do not need to install or maintain their own infrastructure to use the service.

Residents can use online rent payments, messaging and document sharing, while administrators can manage maintenance requests and other community operations. The service is available on the web and through native Android and iOS apps for residents and administrators. ApnaComplex also offers property integrations, although the available details do not identify specific integration partners.

Its breadth makes ApnaComplex relevant to both the Tenant Portal Software and HOA Management Software categories. The company site identifies ANAROCK Group Business Services Pvt. Ltd. as the operator and shows a copyright range beginning in 2010.

Key features

Accounting and payments

Accounting tools cover automated maintenance billing and collections, expense tracking, metered utility billing and GST-supported financial statements. The Collection Gateway gives each unit a virtual bank account, allowing NEFT or IMPS payments to be reconciled automatically and receipts to be issued. The maker says this option has zero convenience charges. A separate Payment Gateway accepts netbanking and credit or debit cards, with nominal convenience charges stated on the pricing page.

Security and community operations

Gatekeeper handles visitor and courier authorization, staff attendance, school bus notifications and guard patrol tracking. It includes an offline mode. The wider feature set also includes a help desk, facility management and community collaboration tools, alongside maintenance requests.

Data safeguards and support

ApnaComplex states that every page uses 256-bit SSL, database backups are made near real time and retained for 30 days, and access is controlled by user roles. The company says it does not sell or rent users’ email addresses, phone numbers, addresses or other personal information to third parties. Its support offering includes initial setup and data loading, email assistance, and training for estate managers and staff.

Pricing

ApnaComplex is freemium: a free edition is available, and the listed pricing note says paid plans start from ₹499/mo. The pricing information also lists a 30-day trial, while the FAQ describes a 15-day no-obligation trial and says users can continue with the free edition afterward. These trial descriptions differ, so confirm the applicable trial length before signing up.

The named plans are Free, Standard Security, Standard Management, Standard Accounting and Ultimate. Free is listed at 0.00 USD per free and includes society data management, community collaboration, help desk, apartment security, facility management and society accounting. Prices for the other plans are not stated in the available plan details. Paid pricing is annual and based on the number of units, with a unit defined as a flat, plot, villa or shop. Pricing for apartment security hardware varies by city and requires a quote.

Platforms

ApnaComplex is available on Android, iOS and the web. The maker offers native mobile apps for residents and administrators, giving both groups mobile access to community functions.

Who it's for

ApnaComplex is aimed at residential societies that want one hosted service for resident communication, administrative work, accounting and security. Its unit-based plans and support for several kinds of residential property may suit apartment communities as well as layouts, villa communities and colonies. Societies should compare the annual unit-based cost with their own requirements, especially if they need security hardware or card and netbanking payments with nominal convenience charges.

Pros and cons

Pros: The service brings accounting, maintenance, facilities, community collaboration and security functions together.
Pros: The Collection Gateway automates NEFT and IMPS reconciliation and receipts, with zero convenience charges stated for that route.
Pros: Android, iOS and web access are available, and the hosted model does not require society infrastructure setup.
Cons: Prices for the paid plans are not stated in the plan details, and annual costs depend on unit count.
Cons: Trial duration is described as both 30 days and 15 days in the supplied pricing and FAQ information.
Cons: Apartment security hardware requires a city-specific quote, and the card and netbanking gateway has nominal convenience charges.

Alternatives

For a different property or community management option, compare ADDA, NoBrokerHood and BuildingLink. Property-focused alternatives include Property Aura Tenant Portal, PropertyMe Tenant Access, TenantWise, MRI Property Management X and Rent Manager.

Verdict

ApnaComplex stands out in scope rather than in a single narrowly defined function: it brings resident-facing communication and payments together with society accounting, facilities, maintenance and security operations. Its hosted delivery, mobile apps and free edition give societies ways to begin without setting up their own infrastructure. The main points to clarify are the actual paid-plan quote, which trial period applies, and any hardware or payment gateway charges relevant to the community.
