Overview

Hang brings loyalty, offers, CRM, and customer data tools together with restaurant ordering. Guests can join through the app, at the register, or online, with POS, app, web, and delivery activity tied to one guest profile. This unified view gives restaurant teams a basis for connecting purchases to rewards and return visits; it will be most useful to operators that want a coordinated program across several channels.

Businesses can configure earn rates, tier thresholds, benefits, and rewards, with program details synced across the app, wallet pass, and register. Hang AI monitors redemptions and flags what drives return visits, adding a way to assess engagement alongside the program mechanics. The value of that breadth depends on a restaurant being ready to manage loyalty and ordering as an integrated system rather than buying a simple points tool.

Key features

Loyalty and engagement

Points, tiers, benefits, and rewards form the core program. Hang also offers streaks, branded minigames, mystery boxes, quests, challenges, puzzles, trivia, and badges. Referrals, paid memberships, segment-triggered rewards, social media rewards, polls, and surveys provide additional campaign formats. This range suits brands that want to vary how they encourage repeat visits, though businesses seeking only a basic points or stamp scheme may not need such an expansive toolkit.

Ordering and payments

Ordering supports order ahead, menu modifiers, pickup scheduling, Uber Direct delivery, Stripe payments, scan and pay, gift cards, and stored value. Keeping these functions alongside loyalty can help a restaurant connect ordering activity with rewards, but the breadth makes Hang a more substantial platform choice than a standalone rewards program.

Profiles, integrations, and security

Hang combines POS, app, web, and delivery activity into guest profiles through identity resolution and POS transaction ingestion. Its CDP page names integrations with leading POS systems and ordering providers, as well as Shopify, Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, OneSignal, Twilio, Resend, and Stripe. A partner API and webhooks provide further integration options.

Hang states that it is audited annually for SOC 2 Type II and certified to ISO 27001, and that it complies with GDPR and CCPA. It says data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3, isolated by brand, and protected with role-based, multi-factor access that is reviewed and logged. Customers retain ownership of their data, which Hang says it does not use to train shared AI models. Its stated 99.9% uptime service-level agreement, real-time health monitoring, and failover address availability expectations for restaurant operations.

Pricing

Hang is paid software with custom pricing. The loyalty page invites businesses to request a demo or a free, no-commitment prototype in their own brand; that prototype is an evaluation offer, not a free software plan. Restaurants can use it to assess how the experience might fit their brand before committing, but they will need to request pricing to weigh the ongoing cost.

Platforms

Hang supports Android, iOS, web, and API access. It also offers branded native apps, a web app, and a progressive web app, giving restaurants options for presenting the experience across guest-facing surfaces and connecting it with other systems.

Who it's for

Hang is aimed at restaurant brands that want loyalty, ordering, offers, CRM, and customer data functions working across their POS and ordering stack. It is a stronger fit for teams with the operational appetite to configure rewards and campaigns across channels than for a business seeking only a low-cost, simple loyalty scheme. Its stated security controls and uptime commitment will matter to brands evaluating a platform that handles guest activity and ordering.

Pros and cons

Broad loyalty options: Points, tiers, rewards, memberships, referrals, and gamified campaigns let restaurant teams build more varied engagement programs than a basic points structure.
Connected guest activity: Joining POS, app, web, and delivery activity into one profile can help brands relate rewards to customer behavior across channels.
Ordering is part of the platform: Order ahead, scheduled pickup, delivery, scan and pay, gift cards, and stored value make Hang relevant to restaurants consolidating guest-facing functions.
Pricing requires a sales conversation: Custom pricing makes it harder for smaller operators to compare costs without first contacting Hang.
Scope may exceed a simple loyalty need: Restaurants looking only for points or stamps may find the combined ordering and engagement platform broader than necessary.

Alternatives

Loga is a better fit for businesses prioritizing a published free tier and defined member and admin caps: its Free plan costs 0.00 THB per free and includes 100 members and 1 admin, while its Starter plan is 490.00 THB per month with 1,000 members, 5 admins, 1 reward, and 3 coupons. Choose Hang instead when the priority is combining restaurant ordering, guest profiles, and a wider set of engagement features.

PAR Engagement is another paid option on Android, API, iOS, and web for readers comparing restaurant engagement platforms.

Loyalzoo may suit businesses that want a stated free trial and a published GROW price of 77.00 USD per month, with points- or stamp-based loyalty, basic SMS, email, and push marketing, plus subscriptions and memberships. Hang is the broader choice when ordering and unified guest activity matter alongside loyalty.

CardFree Loyalty is worth considering when a restaurant wants to pay only for the functionality it needs and is willing to contact CardFree for a demo.

ChefDesk offers a free trial and pricing based on outlets and modules, which may suit businesses comparing modular costs across locations.

Como Sense is another paid option for Android, API, and iOS.

Incentivio is a paid option without a free plan or free trial for businesses comparing restaurant platforms.

Preferred Patron offers a Small Business plan at 29.00 USD per month under an annual agreement, paid monthly, for 1–3 locations; month-to-month terms are available at an additional 40%. It may be a more suitable comparison for a small multi-location business focused on a stated entry plan, while Hang brings ordering and guest data into the same platform.

Verdict

Hang is best for restaurant brands that want loyalty, ordering, and guest activity connected across their existing systems. Its varied rewards and ordering features give it a broad role in a restaurant’s guest experience, while the free branded prototype offers a way to evaluate the concept. Look elsewhere if a simple loyalty program or a price that can be compared upfront matters more than platform breadth.
