What XoLock is

XoLock is Xobin’s secure assessment browser for proctored assessments and AI interviews. Its locked-down environment blocks activities including tab and application switching, screen sharing, virtual machines, printing, copy-paste, and secondary displays. Before an assessment begins, it checks for forbidden applications, required permissions, network reachability, and monitor configuration. Its monitoring can flag identity mismatch, multiple faces, absence from the frame, another voice, second-device patterns, and unusual answer timing. Xobin says each flag includes a clip, timestamp, and confidence level for human review; the system does not automatically fail a candidate. If a machine crashes, a session can resume from the last saved answer with remaining time intact, and the interruption is logged. Listed integrations include applicant tracking, communication, calendar, and automation tools such as Greenhouse, Slack, Google Calendar, and Zapier. Footage is encrypted at rest, access-logged, and deleted according to configured retention.
