Waffle

What Waffle is

Waffle is a group journaling app for families, couples, and friends who want to stay in sync and provide emotional support. It runs on Android, iOS, and macOS. The free plan includes unlimited journals, entries, and members, with basic covers and question decks. Personalized prompts are designed to help people understand loved ones better. Optional Waffle Plus features include comments, read receipts, photo, video, and voice attachments, personalized question decks, search, PDF export, premium and custom covers, and future entries and events. One person in a journal can subscribe to Plus so everyone in that journal can access its Plus features. Companies and organizations use Waffle, with bulk purchase discounts available, and therapists use it to communicate with clients between sessions, with discounts for licensed therapists. The FAQ says laptop use is not currently supported. Waffle says it does not sell personal data and uses commercially acceptable security measures, while noting absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Its help center covers setup, journals, billing, and support.
