What Vternal Vault is

Vternal Vault is an app and website for storing files and photos on the decentralized Vternal Network. Basic file storage is described as free and unlimited. Users can upload any digital file; items the app or website cannot display remain visible as filenames and downloadable. Files receive permanent links that can be shared or kept private. Albums may be public or private, with controls over who can add items and optional password protection. The network splits uploads into encrypted fragments and replicates them across connected storage devices. Vternal says it monitors fragments, makes backups, and moves pieces when devices go offline. Files are private by default, and employees cannot access users’ files or accounts, according to the maker. Firebase Analytics is used for crash monitoring and workload management, not tracking or advertising. Uploads can come from most other applications, and third parties can use Vternal Network APIs. Sign-in supports Google, Apple ID, or email. Android, iOS, and web clients are available. The Free plan costs nothing.
