What Volunteer Success is

Volunteer Success is a web-based hub that helps volunteers find opportunities and organizations find volunteers. Volunteers can search and filter listings, apply for roles, and create profiles featuring their skills, interests, and expertise. Organizations can post opportunities, review volunteer profiles, and recruit; shift scheduling, messaging, and volunteer self-signup are also available. The service is free, with a listed plan at no cost. Organization accounts are limited to Canadian registered charities and nonprofits, and approval usually takes 1–2 business days before an organization can post or search for volunteers. Users can change profile visibility from the default public setting to private. Volunteer profiles and uploaded resumes are visible only to registered organizations logged in to the platform. A Resource and Learning Centre provides articles, blogs, events, curated resources, and links to outside materials. The privacy policy describes physical and electronic safeguards and limits access to personal information to employees or contractors who need it.
