What VOCALOID6 is
VOCALOID6 is paid singing-synthesis software for Windows and macOS. Users enter melody and lyrics, then adjust accents, vibrato, rhythmic feel and other vocal details. The doubling feature creates harmony parts. VOCALO CHANGER can use imported vocal data to reproduce a user’s singing style with a VOCALOID voicebank. A single voicebank can sing lyrics mixing Japanese, English and Chinese. ARA2 support provides DAW playback control plus song-position and tempo synchronization, while the editor supports VST3, AU and ARA2 plug-in standards. Entered MIDI data can be exported, with WAV, VPR and MIDI (SMF) listed as output formats. The standard product includes Steinberg Cubase AI; upgrade versions do not include that bundle. Voice libraries from VOCALOID3 onward are supported, but serial codes imported from VOCALOID2 are unsupported. The listed price is 225.00 USD once, before tax, including 25 voices. A 31-day trial includes all features. Each serial activates one computer and requires at least 5 GB of free storage.
