What VelociRead is
VelociRead is a web reader that uses RSVP pacing to present words at a fixed focal point. The service says this format eliminates eye movements. Users can paste text or upload TXT, PDF, DOCX, and DOC files, then adjust reading speed from 100 to 1,500 words per minute. The setup page shows 400 WPM as the comfortable speed. VelociRead’s homepage says readers may reach two to four times their normal speed and 600 or more WPM with practice. These are the service’s stated speed claims. No account is required, and the Free plan costs nothing. Content import is available through pasted text and the listed document uploads. VelociRead runs on the web and lists [email protected] for support contact. Its stated pacing method is RSVP, making the service focused on adjustable, rapid presentation of imported text rather than conventional page reading.
