Trilio Site Recovery
Trilio Site Recovery provides disaster recovery for Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization and KubeVirt virtual machines.
What Trilio Site Recovery is
Trilio Site Recovery provides disaster recovery for Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization and KubeVirt virtual machines. Its storage-agnostic replication includes synchronous block-level replication designed for near-zero RPO, with asynchronous replication also available. Automated failover can start VMs in a defined order, reassign networks, and change DNS routing. Teams can test recovery in isolation using replicated snapshots without disrupting production, then generate compliance reports. Replication policies can be defined as Kubernetes custom resources and kept as Git-managed manifests; listed GitOps compatibilities include ArgoCD, Flux, and ACM. The OpenShift-native, operator-based design uses CRDs and a centralized control plane for multiple clusters, without a VM agent. Hooks around failover can quiesce databases, flush writes, and notify dependent services. Listed capabilities also include persistent volume and cluster resource backup, application consistency, instant VM recovery, immutable backup storage, cloud backup targets, and off-site replication. Trilio announced the product as available in Technology Preview through its Early Adopter Program, with support for Red Hat OpenShift 4.20 and later. Pricing is on request.
