What TrekUnity is

TrekUnity is a free group trip planner for friends, families, and couples, available on Android, iOS, and the web. Members can build a shared itinerary by adding activities, voting in polls, and chatting within each trip. The service can read booking confirmations from screenshots and PDFs, then add the details to an itinerary. AI can create itineraries from prompts and read receipts through a phone camera. Users can scan receipts to capture merchant and amount information, then split expenses. Boarding passes, hotel confirmations, and event tickets can be attached to trip items, while activities, stays, and meals appear on a map. Optional live location is visible to accepted trip members, with each pin expiring after 30 minutes. TrekUnity says trip data is not used to train AI models. Its policy says itinerary details are sent to Anthropic without the user’s name or email. Users can access, edit, or delete their data and request export help.
