What TravelMap is
TravelMap is a travel blog built around an interactive map for recording past journeys, sharing current trips, or planning future ones. Users can add photos, videos, posts, and links to map locations, then create routes with points, lines, or imported GPS files. The editor offers map styles, marker icons, and line colors. Maps can be embedded on websites such as WordPress, Wix, and Squarespace, and map content can be exported as a high-resolution PDF travel book. Blogs are public by default, but can be hidden from community and search results or password-protected. TravelMap is available on Android, iOS, and web, with web as its primary platform. It offers a free plan with a 100-photo limit and straight lines. Paid plans add features such as videos, GPS imports, live tracking, and custom map styles. Live Tracking requires Premium Plus during the trip and allows up to two active trackings at once. TravelMap says it does not sell user data and operates in accordance with GDPR.
