What Togal is

Togal is cloud-based estimating and takeoff software for construction plans. Its AI detects, measures, counts, compares, and labels spaces and features, and handles the clicking and counting involved in takeoffs. Togal says its automated takeoffs reach 98% accuracy and that the AI learns from corrections. Image, text, and pattern search can locate and count items across a plan set, while uploaded documents are automatically named and organized. Multiple team members can work on the same takeoff at once, and users can invite external collaborators who do not have Togal. Togal.CHAT answers questions about plans, checks quantities, helps identify errors, and assists with RFP writing. Quantities can be exported to Excel or a user’s estimating software. Supported drawing formats are PDF, JPEG, PNG, and TIFF; measurement supports 2D and 3D, and custom assemblies are available. The Growth plan costs $299 per user per month, billed yearly, and includes unlimited automated takeoffs, chat prompts, image and symbol searches, and collaboration. Togal runs on the web.
