What Tectia Server is

Tectia Server provides encrypted file transfers, secure TCP tunneling, and remote access for mission-critical workloads. It supports SFTP, SCP, SSHv2, and FTP tunneling, with scripting and an automation API. The maker says it is suited to massive transfers and high-throughput workloads. Authentication options include X.509 PKI, SSH keys, SSH certificates, and MFA. Administrators can set access controls by users, groups, roles, permissions, policies, time restrictions, and IP restrictions; audit logging and basic session management are also available. Deployment is listed as on-premise, with support for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Unix. Version 7.1.0, released on 21 September 2026, supports FIPS 140-3 on Linux, Windows, and Solaris. The maker also says Tectia supports compliance with FIPS, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR. SSH.COM offers a free trial with PrivX Desktop, though no trial duration is stated. The trial page says Tectia integrates with SSH key management solutions. Pricing is available on request. SSH.COM describes Enterprise support as available 24x7 by email, phone, or video, with a first-response goal under four hours for critical issues.
