TastyIgniter Kitchen Display is an open-source extension for presenting restaurant orders in a kitchen view, where staff can move orders through statuses and manage wait times. Its board organizes orders into configurable columns, including New, Preparing, Ready, Completed, and On Hold. Staff can change a status with one click and adjust wait times using preset increments or custom times. Displays can be filtered by location, status, order type, and menu category. Administrators can configure up to five columns and show up to 100 orders; the default display is 20. They can also hide customer names, order IDs, and order types on order cards. The extension supports pickup and delivery orders and includes a permission for controlling who can view and manage displays in the admin area. It runs as a web, self-hosted extension for TastyIgniter v4.x. Installation uses Composer and requires database migrations. Live order and status updates require the TastyIgniter Broadcast extension to be installed and configured. The extension is free under the MIT license.
