What StoreGate is

StoreGate is xGate’s retail and inventory management platform for coordinating sales, stock, purchasing, suppliers, branches, reporting, and daily operations. Its point-of-sale tools handle transactions, discounts, taxes, receipts, returns, and cashier accountability, while completed sales automatically reduce inventory. Inventory controls include adjustments, low-stock alerts, movement history, and batch tracking. Product records can contain SKUs, categories, prices, costs, images, barcodes, and supplier references. Purchasing covers orders, goods receiving, supplier pricing, and reorder planning. Businesses with several locations can view branch inventory, transfers, and sales reports across stores, warehouses, or sales points. Reporting includes sales, stock, profitability, and fast- or slow-moving analysis. Role-based access, audit trails, approval limits, and activity visibility support oversight. Supplier profiles can include contacts, payment notes, purchase history, and product relationships.
