What Specterr is
Specterr is a web editor for creating custom music visualizers and lyric videos, founded in 2020. It runs without a download and provides a live preview that updates with the music. Visualizer controls cover shapes, colors, movement, filters, particles, images, audio, and text, with options to reposition or customize individual items. The lyric editor places words on a timeline, lets users drag timestamps, and adjusts style and position. Unsplash integration supports searching for stock photos. Specterr says hardware-accelerated machines render videos in the cloud through its proprietary animation engine, while exported videos are stored for later download with unlimited storage and downloads. Users can grant YouTube access for direct uploads. The free plan is available, and a 2020 blog describes two videos per day, five-minute videos, watermarked exports, and 720p at 30 frames per second. The terms require users to be at least 18. Pricing also includes a la carte and subscription options, with current prices not stated.
