Shopix Visual Search adds image-based product discovery to Shopify stores. Shoppers upload a photo and receive visually similar products from the store catalog. Installation comes through the Shopify App Store with one click and requires no coding or configuration. Catalog synchronization and image-recognition indexing take less than one hour, after which new products, image updates and price changes are indexed automatically. Shopix integrates with the existing Shopify theme and can be enabled or disabled from Shopify admin. Listed integrations include currency switchers, Loox reviews, Vajro Mobile App and Yotpo reviews. Uploaded shopper images are retained only as long as needed for searches. Shopix states that it uses encryption in transit, access controls and does not sell personal information.
