What Scan2CAD is

Scan2CAD converts images and PDFs into CAD and CNC files on Windows and macOS. It can create DXF or DWG files with layers, text, and objects converted, or produce DXF and G-code for common CNC machines. Batch conversion handles folders or multiple PDF pages in one run. Scan2CAD Automate adds a Python API for feature automation on the Business tier. Optional Enhanced OCR targets better text-conversion accuracy and uses plan credits that reset at subscription renewal. Standard conversions keep files on your computer. Enhanced conversion is optional, disabled by default, and uploads files to a secure server for improved accuracy. Business licensing includes offline and floating network options; offline licenses cannot use Enhanced conversions, and each network license supports one simultaneous user. Pro costs $89 a month, billed monthly, while Business costs $1,599 a year, billed annually. Both include support and updates, and the 14-day trial includes all features.
