What Sage HR is

Sage HR is a cloud-based tool for managing, tracking and supporting employees, with Core HR, Leave Management, Timesheets, Shift Scheduling, Expenses, Performance and Recruitment modules. Core HR covers employee profiles, onboarding and offboarding tasks, workflows, documents, reports, announcements, compensation, training and asset tracking. Leave Management handles policies, online requests and approvals, a shared calendar and reports. The iOS and Android apps include time off, timesheets, expenses, documents and goals, although trackable documents can only be uploaded through the web portal. Sage HR connects with Google or Outlook calendars and Slack, and provides a public REST API; API keys give access to all API-enabled data for their user and cannot be restricted by feature. Core HR + Leave Management costs £4.60 a month per employee. Expenses costs £1.15 a month per employee; Performance, Timesheets and Shift Scheduling each cost £2.30 a month per employee. Recruitment costs £170 a month. Sage HR Essentials is a free version included with Sage Payroll, while module trials last 30 days except when integrated with Sage Payroll.
