What Rent Collection UK is

RentCollection is a web-based managed rent collection and rent management service for landlords, agents, and tenants. Tenants receive advance payment prompts and escalating email and text reminders when payments are late. Online accounts show updated rent statements and payment history, while landlords receive email notifications when RentCollection pays them and see real-time statement updates. Rent is paid to landlords the same day it is received, or the following morning when received after 4pm. Tenants pay by Direct Debit on agreed dates, administered by GoCardless. An optional tenancy setup service includes checks, references, income verification, a digitally signed tenancy agreement, and deposit lodgement. The company says client funds are held in a separate FCA-regulated client account with client money protection insurance. It also says deposits are lodged with the DPS and that it belongs to the Property Redress mediation scheme. The Landlord rent collection plan costs £20 per collection, deducted from rent collected, with no collection fee when no rent is collected. The plan is month-to-month with no contract or setup fee.
