What PingOne is

PingOne is a web-based identity and access service for workforce and customer applications. It provides single sign-on, authentication, adaptive access policies, built-in multi-factor authentication, and lifecycle provisioning. Listed SSO protocols are SAML, OpenID Connect, and OAuth 2.0. Directory connections include PingOne Directory, Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, and Microsoft 365, while provisioning uses SCIM. Workforce Essential costs $3 a month, and Workforce Plus costs $6 a month; each requires an annual contract and a 5,000-user minimum. Customer Essential includes no-code identity orchestration, SSO and authentication policies, customer profiles and preference management, and inbound SCIM provisioning. Customer Plus adds adaptive MFA, authentication methods, mobile-app MFA, trusted-device management, and API access management. The Passwordless customer plan covers passwordless orchestration flows, risk policies, and customer profile management, with pricing available through sales. PingOne has no free plan but offers a 30-day trial.
