Pic4Pass

What Pic4Pass is

Pic4Pass is a web tool that checks and crops passport photos for biometric legal verification documents. Users can upload an image or capture one with a webcam or smartphone, then choose a destination country and print format. The software analyzes whether the photo complies with ICAO standards. If it finds a compliant image, it creates a crop sized for the chosen format that can be downloaded and printed for free. Users can have the ID photo emailed or open it in a new window to download. The maker describes the service as a do-it-yourself passport photo generator and says individual users pay no costs. The free end-user plan is free, but registration at the BioID Playground is required. BioID describes the Playground as a free online environment for trying demos, including Pic4Pass. The generator is based on BioID Resources, and developers are directed to BWS for implementation information. The maker identifies photographers and institutions that issue identity documents as potential commercial users and asks them to contact sales. Pic4Pass lists [email protected] for commercial-use inquiries.
