What PBRgen is

PBRgen is a web tool that creates PBR materials for 3D software from text prompts or images. Generation can be guided with styles, colors, guide maps, presets, and image input, and AI seam inpainting can make textures tile seamlessly. The site supports more than 15 maps, including color, roughness, specular, metallic, displacement, normal, and coat. Each map can be edited with a layer stack containing sources and effects such as blur, levels, brightness, and contrast. Users can download selected maps in a zip, combine maps into one RGBA texture, or export as GLB. Listed export targets include Blender, Unreal Engine, Unity, Substance 3D, and Godot. Materials can also be published and shared with one click. The free Starter plan gives 100 one-time credits for personal use; commercial use is included with a paid plan. PBRgen is made by AIxPOLY B.V. in Amsterdam. Its stated protections include TLS 1.2+ in transit and database encryption at rest.
