What OrbitEquip is

OrbitEquip is a web tool for tracking individually identified reusable tools as they move between people and configured locations. Crews can scan QR labels from a phone browser to check tools out and back in. Each record shows status, assigned location, current holder, and checkout history. Users can set return due dates, review overdue tools, and send reminder emails. Maintenance features include issue reports with photos, one-time work scheduling, and recurring preventive maintenance. Every plan includes unlimited users with owner, admin, and worker roles. The Free plan costs nothing and supports up to 25 tools, QR check-in/check-out, and CSV import for up to 25 tools. Starter costs $15 a month for up to 500 tools and adds CSV export, inventory audits, and recurring maintenance schedules. Pro costs $35 a month for up to 2,500 tools, while Business costs $70 a month for up to 10,000 tools. OrbitEquip is aimed at field crews such as electricians, construction teams, HVAC teams, and plumbers. It does not provide GPS tracking, offline operation, quantity-based stock management, or purchasing and ERP integrations.
