What MixinExtras is

MixinExtras is a free companion library for SpongePowered Mixin that adds custom injectors for changing and wrapping supported bytecode behavior. ModifyExpressionValue can target expressions at INVOKE, FIELD, CONSTANT, NEW and MixinExtras expression injection points; changes from multiple mods can build on the value already produced. WrapOperation lets developers wrap method calls, field access, constants, object construction and other supported operations, with wrappers chained through an Operation. WrapWithCondition uses a handler's boolean result to allow or block field writes or void method calls. ModifyReturnValue adjusts method results and supports changes from multiple mods. Expressions uses Java-like strings to target complex bytecode expressions. Setup guidance covers Fabric or Quilt, NeoForge, Forge, Architectury Loom and other platforms. FabricLoader 0.15.0+ and NeoForge 20.2.84+ include the library already. MixinExtras is available on Maven Central, with Gradle dependency examples, and the repository lists an MIT license.
